The program had both those guys at over 2.0 metres. with them and PAE in the front row that is one of the biggest schoolboy packs in recent times.

    Wallaby Winger of the Decade

Wingers are best promoted by their inside men. Superstars of the past might have made some of the modern day guys look good.

[/b] Anyone who rated Brendan Moon needs to be excited by this guy. You heard it first from Speccy!

At Ballymore I was gobsmacke at the size of the second rows at this years schools match. If this boy has the fitness he will go places. Who was his second row partner, because he was taller?

    Wallaby Winger of the Decade

You may be right WJ but it would mean squandering one of the best Centre talents this country has seen for a while.

I'm thinking Dayna Edwards will struggle if he doesn't pick up his fitness and involvement. Slipper and Anae both went well at U 20's last year so will apply pressure to the top squad guys.

James O'Connor - is he THAT good to be in Wallabies NOW

Definitely has the potential but I agree with others that maybe he shouldn't be there yet, well not as a 15 anyway. For versatility though, who is a better back reserve to have on the bench? Beale maybe?

    Wallaby Winger of the Decade

Isn't Turner a sub 11sec 100 m runner and didn't he do 4.8 or something for the 40m (breaking Tuqiri's record)? That's pretty damn quick. It's not just pace, otherwise Rod Davies would be in the green and gold tomorrow. Ioane has the potential to be a great winger but the push for him to be a...

    Melbourne investor nervous

Not to mention that rugby is played competitively at school level in Melbourne (Is it still just private schools?), so there will now be an easier, more visible pathway for those who don't want to play AFL, or are the wrong body shape for that sport. Crowds should be ok.

Never ever crossed my mind that he might be too slow, but you could be right Straightshooter - will have to watch for that. Don't know that he is any slower than Matt To'omua and he may have been made to look pedestrian because of the number of speedy guys picked to play sevens. Another guy who...

    Wallaby Bolters for 2010

A fit and more industrious Leroy Houston to make claims for the No. 8 spot and an injury free Benny Lucas to lay claims to a bench spot. Rob Horne for sure!

Looking forward to watching young Crook in a few games in 2010. From all reports he has the size and speed. I wish him well.

    best schoolboy side

That's him..man-child. No fear and seems to be a tough customer. I wonder whether he is big enough for the major leagues?

    Wallaby THP of the decade

I'll go with Baxter. How many tight heads have owned Sheridan? He is one of the most maligned players in history.

    Wallabies Team for 2010

Good point. Injury will cruel a few and there will be a bolter or two as the season unfolds. Actually, could be a good thread, "who will the bolters be in 2010"?

    Kurtley Beale

It's a beat up, purely and simply. Hmmm..double entrende?

He might be but he is a tough little rooster and will do the job. Talk of QC (Quade Cooper)'s omission is premature however, both these guys, and Kingi, are options, as is Hynes as a left field call. The other guy who would do a reliable job is Ant Fainga'a, fantastic defender.

Rob Horne at 12 is something I would like to see. I haven't been a fan of his as long as you Lee, but I was a big admirer of his 12 play as a schoolboy, and did say in a post a few years ago that I though he was the long term 12 answer. Hope he gets a go one day.
