    Phil 'Hypocrite' Waugh

I'm a huge fan of Waugh's leadership, but if this quote is taken in context he's being a bit ambitious. Tahs have had a lackluster approach games not involving the Force.

No no no no stop it, we're falling into Poido's trap. Give Foley a chance!

    digbys gone?

There may well be swings and roundabouts, but that's a bad example. In the good old days, teams like the Wallabies or Waratahs would tour a country for 6 weeks. And Godfrey, there's no point chucking history out the window. That Waratah means a fair bit to me. It's not everything, but it's...

    digbys gone?

No Scotty, I picked 1984 because we won the Grand Slam with amateurs (and I was weak-tackling centre for my school's 2nd XV), and I think in all my dealings with rugby there is a little echo of 1984 in there to keep me happy. My point about Olympic archers is that they are taking a few years out...

Scrap Super Rugby for a Trans Tasman Competition?

Mate, I'm already sick of Saffa and Kiwi teams. I'm really looking forward to Argentina coming into the comp. Then we'll really have something. Definitely don't want to contract the competition in SupeRugby.

    digbys gone?

It's days like these when I wish it was still 1984. Is making money really that important to people? It makes me sad. I don't know anything about the Ioane family but do they have someone in an iron lung or something? Why can't they be poor and proud of Digby's achievements? What if he was an...

From Poido's article, it's interesting that he mentions Foley twice, given that many of suspect that he will be the head coach next year. I reckon Poido has his own candidate in mind - possibly Cheika - and is promoting him. Typical NSW politics.

Fantastic player, best of luck mate.

RWC 2011 Odds (Not safe for A. Wilkie)

You're having a Barry, mate. Post more reasonably or the mods'll boot you out quick smart. How about this: NSW have the best pack, and QC (Quade Cooper) is a defensive liability, and is unlikely to fix it before the RWC. Then look up "hyperbole" in the dictionary and have a bit of a think.

Better - and I mean WAAAAY better - beer and meals service. One time it took me a full 30 minutes to get beers and hot dogs. Ask Blue. As far as game style goes - I haven't really got a problem. Just win, you bastards.

RWC 2011 Odds (Not safe for A. Wilkie)

I reckon Ingerland look the best bet there at $11. That's saying they have an 9% chance of winning. They beat us twice last year FFS!

So why don't we have Cheerleaders at the Waratah's games?

Tah Man - yes Cheerleaders - no If you want T&A then go to a bar after the game and pick up.

    Rebels v Reds. AAMI Stadium - 2011R12

Cipriani's drinking killed James Hilgendorf. Too long a bow? It's a real shame for Jimmy, he's a real tryer.

Changing the Culture of a Super Rugby Team

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned Link's turnaround of the Waratahs. He took a soft over-privielegd team on a tour of Argentina, and hardened them up considerably. He then seemed to reach his limits as a coach in finding a game style that minimised risks but didn't score enough points...

    Super 15 Format

If the first place getter in a conference system doesn't get through to the finals, then you don't have a conference system. The current top 6 all deserve to be there.

    Wallabies Alternate Strip

I reckon green and gold hoops work better when they're thin. Like Gordon. And why can we not have GOLD instead of YELLOW?
