    Elsom: In or Out?

Rocky has been limping around the field since he returned to Oz. I'm sure he'll play in the RWC but he won't be nearly as effective as the Euro-Rocky.

    Waratahs v Lions - 2011R14

My prediction is that the Tahs come somewhere between 5th and 8th out of 15. I don't really think that is good enough.

Guys, you are chowing down on Danny Weidler's rancid bait. Whatever the truth of the matter, this is a peabrain to ignore.

    Waratahs v Lions - 2011R14

The Lions are mugs. Their defence in the first half was awful - very passive. They improved to about the level of an average SupeRugby side in the second half and we lost 7-0. My wife doesn't watch much rugby but she watched the first half last night. Our conversation this morning: Wife: So...

    The ARC 4 years on

Hats are for the weak. Bruce, you've been on fire recently so I'll cut you some slack. You tell me what part of the Football Australia story you don't know about and I'll fill you in.

    Waratahs v Lions - 2011R14

I was expecting - no, hoping against hope - that they would smash the last place team like they should. I was also hoping against hope that they wouldn't go back to the kicking game. Really, 0 points from 40 minutes against the Lions, combined with aimless kicking, is really very poor.

Marius was weird tonight. But I guess anyone can have an off night. He missed countless knock-ons, seemed to invent the first few ruck penalties, and completely lost his mind about knock-on advantage. Reffed the scrums well, though, I thought.

No mate, waaay more than 2 kicks. Probably 5 - at least 4 were shit. Trust me, I'm sober for once.

Sorry? I think I misheard you.

    Waratahs v Lions - 2011R14

Look - it's a bonus point win, but I really thought that performance was not good enough. Poor skills, some bloody lucky outcomes of chip kicks. Against a more physical side we wouldn't have scored many points.

Beale is probably furious that the Tahs have gone back into their shell in the second half. WHY KICK? he is quite rightly screaming.

    Waratahs v Lions - 2011R14

Jonker has let the Tahs ruck past the ball all night (a la All Blacks). That's good, I suppose.

Jantjies has been great since he's come on. Added heaps of spark.

I've got some ideas for the Waratahs' next training session. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass. Catch and pass.

Alcock another penalty win. Nice work lad. Keep your eye on Phil, though. He'll have you killed if you get any better.

Waratahs gone back to the kicking game. God knows what's going on in Barnes's head.
