Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

I was concerned when we couldn't train but the Scots could apparently. Losing those guys doesn't help, we seem to be losing guys in final training runs or is that a coincidence? I think we are still fragile when things don't go our way. Need to learn to fight harder and smarter. A Can someone...

Not sure I understand you. Are you suggesting we put less players in the breakdown and set our D to give the ref a clear view? If you are then I totally disagree. 'Lose the breakdown lose the game', could have been the headline on this test. Ditto the D .. BTW

I did say 'may' but in a first outing, he has headroom. Let's wait and see what he offers, could end up better than Marky.

I think we will go better against Ireland, based on nothing, unless we change our D (won't happen) and then I will be optimistic.

I wasn't referring to the try, I thought his general play was very good. Interested in his tackle stats.

One of the few positives is that we may have a replacement for Marky in Harry Potter, he looked strong and fast.

Our problems were not emotional or tired, it was a functional disorder acerbated by shit D.

Jesus, I thought I read somewhere they had moved him to another area? Useless and past his use by date.

The Ref was pedantic but accurate and yes the stop-start didn't help us but Scotland had the same issue with him and thrived on it.

The problems were obvious and nothing to do with the ref. The attacking breakdown support was slow and ineffective, the clean out poor and often late as well. Our defence offered Finn-Russel a run every time, there rush defence closed us down most times. Who the fuck is in charge of our D he...

Dru was that the same day we planned a run? I wonder if they did it on the Friday the snow may not have laid.

Yes I struggle to understand the reasoning, unless he thinks the guys need a full day off before the test.

Looked at forecast and temp not bad at 10c. Weather not great but it's the bloody UK what do you expect?

Schmidt did state that TT was OK to play this weekend but due to lack of training decided to put it off.

Lets see how we go against the Scots and what, if any, injuries or niggles we pick up. Next weeks game will be huge and there's some guys like Ikitau and Bell who need to come through OK.

I agree and his best position is 6 and the best one we have in the country.

I am hopeful that Rory Scott and Charlie Cale get a decent look in next year, we need a specialist 8 as well as Wilson and Valetini is too useful at 6 to be stuck at the back of the scrum running defensive lines and looking for breaks.

I don't think either side is easy and both are technical. I am told that at loosehead you can pull more games but I don't know if that is true or not.

I think HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) can do both sides Adam. Not keen on seeing him in the Wallabies but a good enough Super Rugby player and if things get that dire - well you do what you have to do.
