I didn't watch much force this year, but Harry was shit on defence and in the air, then got carded..Harry Potter getting capped for the Wallabies before Corey Toole would be the most ludicrous thing in the history of rugby
TT, I think we have gone through a period where talented players with knowledge have not had the success that's important to mentor players. If you have battled for years and lost most games it means you can't talk much about how to win as you have mainly been defending.Learning more from Bryn Hall than from Jake Gordon is bloody grim from an Aussie point of view

Edmed isn't the only young player with a limited understanding of top level rugby smarts. Most of our players are lacking in basics and any old head, like Gordon could have pointed out how to improve but there is nothing on show in the Tahs to prove it. As I said, better to hear from players who have a successful career behind them. I thought that was pretty obvious. How is that your takeaway from the quote?
You would assume that another halfback with over 120 Super Rugby caps also has something of value to add, particularly as the only halfback with any experience Edmed has ever played with is Gordon.
Not for the top squad. He'll get some good game time for Aus A but he has not packed anywhere near enough scrums as adults for a Wallabies debut on this tour. How about Massimo De Lutiis?? Could be a bolter.

Maybe watch more? He’s a great player. I guess that’s why he was picked?I didn't watch much force this year, but Harry was shit on defence and in the air, then got carded..
* shoves ice pick into frontal lobe *There are absolutely people out there who believe he should play Shute Shield games before earning selection for the Waratahs.
These people are not serious.
Because it’s the best football he’s ever played, and he specifically mentions the halfback as having been a major influenceHow is that your takeaway from the quote?

Great? He’s ok, but was apart of a Force team screaming out for better outside backs this yearMaybe watch more? He’s a great player. I guess that’s why he was picked?
I wouldn't say great, but i hope he proves me wrong..Maybe watch more? He’s a great player. I guess that’s why he was picked?
No captain was announced.Someone earlier posted that McReight will be captain, correct? So if Skelton starts, do we see Williams pushed to 6 and Valetini to 8?
Harry Wilson had done "a really good job" as captain during the Rugby Championship but interestingly Schmidt would not guarantee the 'c' would be next to his name for the first Test against England in London on November 10 (AEDT).
"It's not something that we've actually talked about yet," he said.
"Harry would definitely be one of the standout characters who's likely to be involved in leadership of the team in some way, shape or form. Whether that's captain, we're not sure."
Maybe it was learning something new other than Jake's playbook that opened his eyes....Learning more from Bryn Hall than from Jake Gordon is bloody grim from an Aussie point of view
