Nothing better mate. Witnessed 2016 Battle of the Colors, best schoolboy rugby game I've ever watched. The atmosphere and amount of people at Tenny was astonishing.

Talking about big games in 2016, what about state high vs Nudgee on ross. How good was Tualagi late try in the corner to win the game

Devastated me as a NC supporter but I was above impressed with that BSHS team that season. Hopefully NC can return the favour in round 9 this season.

Gin Gin mate and played 15 for TGS 1st 02, 03 and never went to GT. Had a nephew in the same grade as him.

Correct on Gin Gin, Dad played 12 in 1993.

Downlands college WITHOUT A DOUBT should be included in those team lists. One of the most impressive rugby programs I have seen. Maybe not one of the strongest teams results wise but they give it their all (especially when competing against these corrupt GPS teams). For a school with very few scholarships DC very much deserves more recognition in my opinion. YOU CAN TAKE THE BOY OUT OF DOWLANDS BUT YOU CANT TAKE THE DOWNLANDS OUT OF THE BOY!!

Who is everyone's favorite elite GPS rugby graduates? Mine are two legendary halve duo's from back in the day.

Personally, one of my favourites is Kalyn Ponga. Another member of the Churchie 2014 team. Won the Dally M last year.

Realistically the only boy who would crack one of the sides is Gavin Wilson Tyres, probably a HM for either the pink or grey team respectively. Other than that the GPS is at an another level compared to downloads. However I will not take away the amazing program they have and some of the extraordinary players they have produced, such a shame they switched to Co ed, otherswise they could be one of the top teams around. I still remember playing against Garrick Morgan, I think he's the best I've played against.

Hey GEO, that's a great perspective. I think Downlands have some great individual players in their program however struggle to pull teams together. Especially when competing against the GPS. But with that said, the Downlands boys just love to get around some good footy. They love the fun!

Thanks. But in answer to your question TRC, I've heard TSS could be hosting a mostly seconds xv and 16A squad against DC. But im not 100% sure. might need to double check that one

Thoughts and opnions

Pretty standard, didn't get a chance to watch the TSS vs IGS game and haven't heard much of it. How did it all pan out?

"Take away the size" You can't take away his size though and it is a crucial part of his game and it helps him dominate in the scrums and as a good ball runner.

but all he has is size, the scrum technique is basic at best but is masked by the size. There will come a time where the size wont be able to carry him. He has just in my opinion minimal game awareness and is lacking in certain aspects of being a "tight" forward. Other people may disagree and that is perfectly fine.
