Dickson joins Mikkelson in team rehab so NZ down to 10 men. Tough to win three on the trot when you're two men down. Rain has eased but it'll be greasy as fuck & Wales will fancy their chances moreso than if it were a hard & fast track.

We had 554mm one night here, it was aorund easter in 1999 from memory. I remember the amount because the guy responsible for the weather recording tipped 54mm out in the late afternoon and the 500mm gauge was overflowing the next morning!!

Like you say, there is nothing like a real tropical downpour, zero visability and total whiteout! Mind you its usually pretty steamy once the rain does stop!

Hopefully it eases by the time the Ozzies play.

HT NZ 7-0 Wales.

Molia binned just before HT but Wales not only failed to score before HT, they then kicked the restart out so NZ were able to eat up the rest of his bin time. Dumb play.

Roach scores, 7-7.

In these conditions we should be favourites to beat Fiji.

Can we finally break our final duck. Think SA beat NZ well.

Never underestimate the ability of the Soap Dodgers to come back in Sevens rugby. They never give up, and have often won games by scoring after the bell.

Still being 14-0 up with only 2 minutes to go looks to be a fairly big climb for the Poms to come back and win.

Fiji typically go alright in the wet.

But our guys have notched wins against them in recent times.

So if they've pulled up okay by then, who knows.

I'm worried that Stannard will be struggling after he cools down. He looked crocked early but somehow got through the game.

Meanwhile in the Qualifying Tournament Japan still to concede a point, 22-0 v Zimbabwe, will lay Hong Kong in the Final, 17-7 v Germany.

NZ & SA well into extra time. Hope they can keep going for another 30 minutes or so. :)

Mistake after mistake for both sides. Enthralling game nonetheless. Stupid high tackle from the Kiwis resulting in a yellow card, but they got away with it.

NZ wins with about 1 minute left in the second period of extra time. Unbelievable effort from both teams.

Us against the Fijians now. Big test of where we are at, might be tough with the injury list.
