    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

One aspect about the Brumbies new found game approach that hasn't had much of a mention, is the improvement and intensity of their forwards play. So many short off loads especially by the two Arnolds, which put huge pressure on the Tahs defense and led to multiple line breaks and at least one...

    Highlander v Rebels - Sat 3:15pm

For the sake of clarity, just make the goal posts another defender so that the try line actually passes behind the post and anyone crashing into the post is taken to be tackled.

    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

It was a very good game, both sides gave it their all. The thing that is startlingly clear is that the Tahs are extremely dangerous down their left flank with Folau and Naiyaravoro both hard to stop. They didn't threaten the line in many other places though. Think the Brumbies made some...

    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

The two Arnolds have been having a whale of a time out there. Banks is just class at fullback. Good to see TK in a bit of form.

    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Only the first half, but the Brumbies lineout has demolished the Tahs one, despite the world's best caller being in blue. Incidentally, the Tahs scrum on the TH side has been the weaker side again in this match. Been saying it since before the test break, Robertson has been stronger than Kepu at...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

And if Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth and Brisbane had two teams each supplemented by Country teams in both NSW and Qld, we could have home games each and every weekend. Sounds like a souped up version of the NRC.

T'man, did the original contract start in and include 2016? If so, the duration would have been 2016, 2017, and 2018. Maybe a 1 year extension would expire at the end of the 2019 season? Would really like to get some clarification on it all.

I missed that one Gel. Thanks for the clarification.

    Brumbies 2019

It would be tragic to lose both Mayhew and Makin. Neither are given much thought by other teams' fans here, but they really make up the best bench front row in the Aus conference. If they are off elsewhere, it begs the question why Sione and Erasmus would also be going. Getting Lloyd back...

    Reds 2018

What deal S2050? Can't see NSW being jubilant about Folau to the Reds, so mustn't be that one. Similarly, anything involving CFS is unlikely to ruffle too many feathers in Qld, so is one of Higgers or Kerevi to NSW?

    Reds 2018

Don't ignore this forum. Predictions have been right in many cases, including recently with Naisarani (apparently) and Colby. DP would be a good replacement for Godwin at the Brumbies, but by far the more interesting prediction/rumour is the one concerning Folau to the Reds.

    Rebels 2019

I think he might be eligible R3, but wouldn't Leicester have a say in whether he can play or not, as he's still under contract to them.

    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

Undoubtedly. If you rate Both Miller and Hooper in the best XV, then who misses out when Hooper returns? Hanigan or Wells? It would be an opportunity to play Miller at 7 and Hooper at 8 in a position more suited to his abilities, but I don't have any illusions it will be tried.

Will be good to see Matt To'omua back. Whether he plays 10 or 12, his impact on any game is more than just his ability to organise, take on the line or set up a support. His defense if it's back to his best, can absolutely demolish the attacking structures of the opposition side.Only takes a hit...

    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

BH I don't expect the Brumbies to get a bonus point win over the Tahs and realistically they are probably not favoured to come away with a win. But on recent form, I would argue the Brumbies have been playing better rugby than the Tahs in their games against the Canes and Chiefs compared with...

    Round 19 - Waratahs v Brumbies

What are some of the Tahs' supporters' thoughts on the prospect of facing the Arnold twins together? From my perspective, Rory has been one of the standout locks in the whole Super competition this year, and Richie isn't far behind him in work ethic and skills. Their physicality is up there...

    Round 19 - Reds vs Sunwolves - Friday 13 July 2018

Dan, given that I haven't seen any comments from anybody criticising Tupou's scrum efforts, indeed just the opposite, what are you implying? EDIT : OK, just read the following posts and is now clear. Hadn't noticed the boring in myself, but given he will be important to the Wallabies' scrum...
