    Brumbies v Waratahs Rnd 5 2014

White's and Moggs kicking game has been a bit off lately. To'omua's not bad though. If their kicking boots are on, both goal kicking and general play then I think your right Brumbies +5. If there kicking is off then we might be in trouble.

Super Rugby Round Three: Rebels v Cheetahs, Friday 28 Feb, AAMI Park

Thought his passes were good on the weekend.

McCaw out for 2 months with a broken thumb

If the world cup final was on in 2 weeks times, do you think he would play?

McCaw out for 2 months with a broken thumb

Just wondering what everyones thoughts were on this. My first thoughts were that 2 months seems excessive just for a thumb! This might be stupid to say but couldn't a rugby player still play quite effectively with a broken thumb?

Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Isn't that what they are doing now. He plays LH in the wallabies and now he playing LH for the Reds. I hope this is the case.

    Waratahs 2014

I hope this is the case. If successful, Beale would become the perfect utility back/impact player able to cover 10,12 and 15 at a very high level. Plus I rate Foley as a 10.

The Impending Beale vs Folau vs Cooper debate

Falou in the centres ? He is a very good player but has anyone not noticed HE CANT PASS! Sure he runs bloody brilliantly but I don't think I've even seen many offloads from him. So you can rule out a SBW type centre. His pass to Tomane nearly cost a try. I also think he didn't pass to...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

Kepu worries me. He had a good game verse Wales, but I noticed at times he just looks lost and indecisive . I saw him more then once around a ruck hesitating - you tell he was thinking "should i go in, should I join the line, what should i do?" When he makes a decision he usually executes it...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

This is true MungoMan. Although Hoopers last game verse NZ in the Bled.3 was pretty good. I still think the Pocock of old edges Hooper (Pocock just has that X-factor around breakdowns) but it's hard not to praise the guy especially after last nights efforts.

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

I think they got most bases covered for a complete team - apart from a playmaking 10. Just image how different there back-line attack would be with a Cooper, Sexton or Carter setting up the likes of North, Cuthbert, Roberts, and Half-penny coming into the line also. Their 10 is a real weak point...

Ben Mowen survives alleged mutiny plot.........

Gregan, Mortlock, BOC were great Captains in the back-line. Who cares if they are forwards or backs as long as they are good leaders and good captains. Pro & cons on both sides.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Agree - He was great in contact as well. Which has been my main criticism of him in the past. Seems like a stronger player then he was at the start of the season. Very impressed. Pocock remains the stronger player over the ball - but boy does he have some work to do to get back into the...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

Completely agree. I really hope Cheika re-think his Falou at 13 idea. I don't think Falou is the greatest at setting up his outside player - his passing isn't the best. Everything else is superb though. Id stick Beale at 10. Foley to 12.

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

The welsh have pretty damn good squad when you look at it. There forwards competed nicely at the breakdown but I think we managed to get the better of them. Man for man it was pretty tight but I think Cooper made a big difference who clearly outplayed his opposite number by miles.

Ben Mowen survives alleged mutiny plot.........

Ben Mowen is a good captain and a good leader. The only question is will he be good enough around the park to keep his spot in the wallabies. Lots of good competition with Fardy, Higgers, MMM, Palu.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

100% disagree - no way is Hooper is a more dominant tackler/hitter! I actually think he is poor in contact - he's a good ball runner because he hits half gaps at pace with good body height, he's a good tackler because he has good technique - he will lift and dump a player but rarely would he hit...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

I agree - his job has been much more difficult with a poor forward pack. However this is where I believe Pocock & G.Smith bring so much value - So many times our forward pack has been on the back foot and Pocock makes a turn-over - which just seems impossible given the momentum of the opposition...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Smith won a penalty also. After being concussed - I wouldnt say that was a bad effort - just an average effort for what SMiths usual standards are. And it was the last 20mins we got hammered. Isn't this the same commentator that continuously praised Giteau as he would crab across field, or...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

1st test: Good point. he played poor but was in the centres. No his fault. 2nd Test: From the G&GR player ratings: "Worked and worked some more. Cant fault his enthusiasm though Warburton got the better of him on the ground." I recall him getting dominated - this backs up my thoughts. He tried...
