    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

Great game to watch! First thoughts: Genia & Cooper - bloody awesome! Surely they are going to be our halves going forward. Lets stop mixing and matching and stick with these two. (I actually prefer Lealifano at 10 but realistically that's not going to happen - so lets stick to these two)...

The flyhalf debate: who's in better form?

    Lealifano for Flyhalf please!

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Woah a 19 page thread. I think everyone needs to wait until the end of the year before we can judge McKenzie as a coach. IMO, so far he hasn't improved anything yet but he hasn't had the time too. Going forward I feel McKenzie's real Test will be the EOYT. If we don't see an improvement (at...

    Jake White Quits Brumbies

As a Brumbies fan i will have nothing but respect for the guy. He has left the Brumbies in a far better state then when he started. And that is a direct result of his success as a coach. I can be happy of a job well done. Very curious to see Laurie or Larkham step up. Cant wait.

    Springboks v Wallabies, Newlands, September 28 2013

Very well said Hawko! Id keep the same backline, bring in a rookie winger.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

I would expect Ranger to run over 90% of the current super rugby fullbacks.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

He can't. Which is why he on the bench to see how he performs at this level. Dennis and McCalman, we know what they bring at test level and that isn't a great deal. Schatz is an unknown. Played just as good as Dennis n McCalman in Super Rugby, why not see how he performs off the bench. Then we...

New Zealand vs Australia - Bledisloe 2, 24th August 2013

One major problem is the All Blacks Up-and-Under kicking tactic. If they cant kick it out on the full they put up a contestable up-and-under, being the attacking team all they have to do is knock the ball back and there is a pretty high chance they will regather the ball. The defending team...

    When is the squad annouced?

Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

First thing i notice in this squad is the lack of depth at 12. Harris & A. Fainga dont cut it. Lilo is great but i prefer him at 10 after his stella super xv season last year, he does not seem to have the same impact at 12. Flyhalf - To'omua best defensive 10 going round, sorry about the...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Given how good he is under the high ball. The best in the world. I would say that skill is wasted at 13. He should stay on the wing, and continue dominating that position. He will be the wallabies winger for years to come. I'd say for versatility let him play at 13 for the Tahs or Fulback so he...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Another argument over scum's and the Ref's inability to referee it effectively. We need a thread to think of solutions as this is becoming an extreme negative in such a beautiful game. Bring in a scrum ref? Change the rules? I don't have enough scrum knowledge to start the thread myself but...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Yep noticed that. Bad sportsmanship from Beale. I'm actually glad they did not show this on camera and the focus was on the game.

GAGR MOTM - Wallabies vs BIL Test 3

    3. Mowen 2. Smith - def under-rated performance. Thought he did very well. Strong. 1. Moore

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Disagree, Thought George was much better then Hooper previously. Apart from his knock he played strong. Even got a turn-over early on. Completely agree with all other points though.

    Lions Tour 2013

Bit harsh. It was a mixed performance from Genia. His first 2 games were very very good. He needs to learn to box kick. But still the best half-back in the world imo.

    Lions Tour 2013

Agreed. Forgot to mention his missed tackles are just embarrassing. He looks like a little school girl on some of those attempts. Its clear he naturally wants to avoid contact. Similar to QC (Quade Cooper). This is why I rate JOC (James O'Connor) over them, JOC (James O'Connor) may be small but at least he gets in there and puts his body on...

    Lions Tour 2013

Absolutely gutted. But good on the Lions they played great rugby. Some things for me to rant about: Kurtley Beale - is it just me or is he just an extremely bad decision maker, way too erratic for Test Rugby. I honestly think he is the most over-rated player in Aus Rugby. He had a good season...

    Brumbies 2013

As good as To'omua is im not sure he will fit into the starting squad. It would be stupid not to put the form 10 of 2012 back into the starting 10 position. Not sure how versatile To'omua is in other positions.
