To'omua will presumably be the 10 at the Rebels when he arrives next year. Beale was a 10 right through his schoolboy career where he played maybe his best footy. A Beale 10 and To'omua 12 combo could certainly work. Its odd that many put so much blame on Foley. He's one of our players who puts...

Its in the bank now but its a tough one to understand

For now. Five years is a very long time in rugby land.

Australia vs South Africa 8th September

I think he will persist with Maddocks and we may see a bit more of what he can do in the next few games. Maybe Folau at 13 with DHP at the back? It would be nice to have Arnold and Coleman in the row and TT getting a start. AAA went well though last week but may be needed on the other side? Back...

Why not a two year deal to see him through the RWC and then look at it again? The Wallabies have not been setting the world on fire since the last RWC and he has been front and centre throughout that period. I’m not suggesting it’s his fault but he has been a big part of it.

He may be worth that money annually right now but there is no solid reason to give him an extended contract, or at least the cons outweigh the pros. It is disheartening for these young players and many other coaches may see him as a backup to Pocock on the bench. He also qualifies for the...

Surely it’s not a matter of MC saying to Grey “throw me out a defensive strategy and we will go with whatever it is”. Cheika must also be deeply invested in the defensive structure. I’m not defending Grey and he should never have been offered a full time gig after his record at the Tahs and for...

Why? We play them more than anyone else every year which makes them very familiar with the way we play, which in turns seems to help them more than us. It is good to measure yourself against the best but not too often.

Yeah, well I stupidly got up at 330am for that punishment knowing full well what was coming.

3 times a year is too many. Twice for the RC is fine.

Well, that just the way it is right now. It doesn't mean we grab our ball and go home. Great cricket sides of the past have been as dominant. Us, the West Indies in the 70s. The Wallabies just need to keep going and focus on themselves. Change will come for both sides. As Hansen says, we will...

He should probably go to 13 to have him more involved and to give us that penetration in the mid field, at least until TK returns.

We need to stop playing the ABs 3 times a year. It is really demoralising for players and supporters alike. For now we must play them twice in the context of the RC but they are obviously superior and know exactly how to beat us. Its painful to watch. The third game should be dropped and let us...

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

I didn’t watch the last 10, couldn’t keep going. Before that he made some very good tackles and shut down a few attacking raids on his own. I’ll wait for the stats. ABs just too good. They are going to walk the RWC. DHP an improvement on Folau who should come back on the wing. The neck rolls by...

He needs to stay until the completion of the RWC and then win, lose or draw he steps down. RA should be work8ng on several decent options for a new coaching setup including one with Larkham as head coach and then go with the most viable.

Good to have him back in Oz and not a bad option for the Tahs. He has a big heart and who knows how he might perform? Could be a smokey at 13 for the Wallabies. Unlikely but possible.

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

We have a good number of decent hookers at the moment. No need for Chibba who was not outstanding as a test rake. One of these young blokes needs to stand up and challenge for the starting spot. FF (Folau Fainga'a) might be the guy. Same with the props. Its pretty tough on Kepu to ask him to measure up...

Might be giving him extra time so he’s available for us to beat the rest of the best? His time will come soon.
