The road home - Super rugby 2014

    I've tried to do the calculations and I think the top six will look like this 1. Tahs - 57 2. Saders - 56 3. Shorks - 54 4. Chiefs - 49 5. Brumbies -45 6. Force - 44 7. Bulls - 43 7. Highlanders - 41 8. Hurricanes - 39 - Tahs are in great form and should go on to win their remaining games...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Link indicated in interview that he does not give too much consideration to backline combinations in Super 15. I remember him saying something to the effect of "these are highly skilled players. They come in and they tend to click pretty quickly with the guys around them"

Well it depends how you rate his other games this year. he seems to have been improving over the last few weeks culminating in a very good performance on the weekend playing with a fill-in no.10

I don't disagree with you, but Genia has the runs on the board at test level. If he was out of form I could see an argument for him to be replaced.

Tahs shouldn't get ahead of themselves. They play Brumbies then Highlanders. Both very loseabout

    Waratahs 2014

I've had a look, it's certainly possible. If the Tahs beat Brumbies, Brumbies beat Force and Force beat the Blues and Reds, it is possible that both the Burmbies and Force make it in the final 6, unlikely tho.

surely Foley's performance against Cruden yesterday will see him given the no.10 jersey

Genia will start. He had a great game on Friday so it's hard to say he's out of form. He's a proven big match test player and he is better suited to the style of game the wobs will play on saturday.

the problem with moving AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13 is that we are already short on genuine wingers, but have an embarrassment of riches in the centres.

Ryan did okay against Macintosh, but that's not saying much. He's one of the few LHP in super rugby who is actually taller than Ryan

This has to be the Tahs year to win the title. they need at least 13 points from the last 3 games to finish on top (i.e. 3 wins and at least 1 bonus point). Lose one of their final 3 games and its unlikely they will win the title. I see the final log as follows:- 1. Tahs 2. Crusaders 3...

not me. if the tahs are no.1 on the log in the final week ill be spurring them on to beat the Reds. I'm a die hard reds fan but having the tahs win the title would do wonders for australian rugby. NSW is the biggest market in Australia, we saw what the Reds' 2011 win did for rugby here in...

I think most of the team is pretty set in stone but there are a few positions where i can see a few possibilities No.13 - Kuridrani v AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is in great form and id probably be minded to play him at 13. although i think that's pretty tough on Kuridrani. I thought Kuridrani played quite well...

Cant believe people are still picking alexander. it took him about 2 minutes to get yellow carded last night. Im glad he's injured for the test series. We need to start looking for replacements. Kepu to start, Ryan comes into the squad (ugh - he was better yesterday but the chiefs' scrum hasnt...

Reds v Highlanders Friday 30th May

I agree he is not playing his best football, but if he plays like he did yesterday he is still better than most locks in the comp.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

I'd have Kepu starting. He's more reliable in the scrums than alexander and if he he plays like he did today around the field he's our best TH

I'm calling bias provincialism. a big call maybe but if jones had played the game horwill did last night i reckon you'd be talking about how Jones helped them dominate the highlanders' pack. Sure Horwill made some mistakes but that's cause he was in everything. I serious cant even remember...

Reds v Highlanders Friday 30th May

He did pretty well with his limited opportunities. No errors that i can recall. Took the ball in the contact well, got over the advantage line. made a half break at the end when the reds were needing to work their way in to Highlander territory. I was a bit worried that a guy that green might...

Reds v Highlanders Friday 30th May

I cant agree re Horwill. Horwill and Simmons were a big reason why the reds dominated the highlander pack.
