Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

my original comment was "White was ok". I didn't blame him for anything. He didn't stand out for me

MOTM? no way. he wasn't even in our top 3 three backs imo. Kicking was good at times, but not great. Missed a number of shots at goal. never really threatened with ball in hand. Did a decent job of implementing the team strategy of playing field position but that was about it. White has to be...

You seriously think White was one of our best performers this week?! come off it. Our halves must shoulder a lot of the blame for our poor attack. I didn't say White should lose his spot, but Genia has a history of being an outstanding test player and also deserves a run at some point. I believe...

White was ok. But with one of the world's best 9's (genia) sitting outside the 23 waiting for his chance, he needs to do better (as does Phipps) if he expect to hold his position. thankfully for both of them Genia is now injured so they will retain their spots in any event

Genia is apparently injured until August.

A Few thoughts: - major positive was our set piece. Lots of scrums and line-outs during the game. The Scrum was very good and the line-out was pretty solid. Slipper and Kepu had great games. - Defence was also very good. - TPN had a quiet game by his standards. I got the feeling Link has told...

i think neutral supporters (and casual fans) just wana see the wallabies throw the ball around but they just werent able to tonight. still they did the right thing and just played for the win. good game heading into the rugby championship Id be a bit worried if we just got three free flowing...

I thought beale looked more dangerous when he came on

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

not the most entertaining game iv ever seen but nice to see we can also win the tight dour contests. We did a lot of the basics very well, set piece, breakdown work (generally). We didn't quite click in attack tonight and blew a lot of chances to score but we did enough to win in the second...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Dan Carter might win you more titles, but he doesn't have the entertainment factor of Folau. Having watched both of them play live many times I can say that Folau is without a doubt the most exciting player I have ever seen (in person) play rugby. It's all about bums on seats. I'm more than...

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

I'm half minded to forward a written complaint to the ARU about this. Anyone know which department I should be writing to? (an email perhaps? - with all the staffing cuts I suspect it will never actually by read)

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

I'll be really pissed off if the ARU gives JOC (James O'Connor) a top up. There are tones of players more deserving. Kane Douglas comes to mind. If its the difference between JOC (James O'Connor) returning to OZ or staying abroad let him loose. How about they spend that top-up money on some of our current wingers like Speight...

ARU should have a look at Karmichael Hunt?

Seriously doubt Hunt will sign with the Reds. Unfortunately they'll sign JOC (James O'Connor) instead me thinks

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Well to be honest I doubt we'll see Cowan, Jones, Charles and Weeks all come on if the game is in the balance with 10 to go. But all of those guys have been in good form this season so we should have SOME faith, maybe not a lot. It's definitely possible we could get dominated in the forwards...

Is there a way we can get more health affected players in the side to increase publicity? Perhaps we could inject Hooper with Hep C or something. Pretty sure Kepu suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ;)

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Just read a pleasing statistic - Wallabies averaged 4.5 tries over their last 8 matches. The French are really going to have to make a mess of our ball if they are going to stop us from scoring tries. And they'll need to score a few of their own. They might edge the forward battle but I just...

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

i think the forward battle will be very close this week, but i still think the french will struggle to contain our back-line. We wont get nearly as many opportunities to attack, but the way our backs shredded them last week I couldn't see us scoring less than 3 or 4 tries. Final score line...
