Yes, I agree that To'omua should not be our starting 10. The Rebs couldn’t score a try for love or money with him there, but I’d start him ahead of Lolesio at this point. JOC (James O'Connor) has been a standout. The question will be, can you carry Lolesio in a 23 with JOC (James O'Connor), To'omua and Hodge?

    Well, that’s not that bad?

    Wallabies 2021

Thats very generous of you Bman, especially so as he has been the standout 10 in SRAU this year.

    Wallabies 2021

Wilson and Samu are always in the wider channels whereas the other 8s seem to be playing closer to the ruck. Wells has been outstanding. It’s really going to depend on what Rennie is looking for but its hard to go past Wilson as your starting 8 now and moving forward. He has such massive...

    Wallabies 2021

Wells is one of the most underrated players in Australia. He has a great rugby brain and almost always takes the best option. He would not be out of place is test footy.

    Wallabies 2021

JOC (James O'Connor) has made a very good case to be the starting 10 and a part of the senior group. Hooper will most likely be captain. Anyone who thinks he will return any less of a player is deluded. Lolesio is a good bench option to cover 10 and 12 and will be given game time to help gain his feet in test...

    Waratahs 2021

Especially so if that coach is not a hardened campaigner who can demand what he needs from the board

    Waratahs 2021

He was a dead man walking......or sitting in the coaches box the last few weeks. Looking out but not seeing anything and was not animated at all. I feel sorry for him but all coaches are measured by results. The boards needs to go as well. Does that mean Chris Whitaker is in the hot seat for the...

    Waratahs 2021

I’m sure Cheika has a little time on his hands. Wouldn’t be bad to have him involved. Sadly I would guess that Ewen McKenzie is forever lost to Australian rugby. It might be the single biggest loss to the code here in my adult lifetime. One of many big stuff ups over time. Cheika as coach or...

So why is Swain there ahead of Blyth?

    Wallabies 2021

I’d have Uru ahead of Naisarani. You need a skilful player linking with the backs, like Wilson. Uru is slightly different but offers a lot. Naisarani is a barge and bash type of player and his ball security has been questionable.

Look at Paisami last year. Opportunity knocked and he jumped through the door.

    Wallabies 2021

I reckon Paisami is developing very well at 12 but unfortunately Jordy does not look to be doing the same at 13. Did you see the fend and then pass from Vunivalu on the weekend in the midfield? Could be a smoky at 13? Otherwise JOC (James O'Connor) and To'omua start with Lolesio on the pine? Tough to justify all...

    Wallabies 2021

Thats very sweet and all but we know that Hooper will start at 7 and most likely be captain. Then I would say that McReight and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) might be on the bench to cover 5/6/7. Depending on the opposition. Samu is also a good bench option. What about a bloke like Anstee? fast, big and can probably play...

    Wallabies 2021

6 is interesting. You have Valetini, Swinton, Wright, Samu and Wilson who have all played there recently and then you have a second tier of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Anstee, ASY (Angus Scott-Young), Lee Warner, Kemeny......is there anyone else? We are well stocked with quality back rowers right now!

    Wallabies 2021

Did you watch the French side this morning? We are going to need some big dynamic forwards. They look a very good side that can score from anywhere. I doubt Lee Warner is in the conversation just yet and Timani will have to show that he still has the legs. Philip will walk back in and then we...

    Wallabies 2021

Samu is not as effective at test level. We need a bigger body there and Wilson is locked in for the foreseeable future. Naisarani pales in comparison to both. I’d have Samu as a bench option in the squad. Hes a great person to have at 6 or 8 to close out games.

    Wallabies 2021

At this point Paisami walks in ahead of both Len Ikatau and Petaia

    Wallabies 2021

It would be good to see Wright given a run there for the Brumbies, or at least some minutes after moving from the wing later in the game. He looked so good behind the line for the Wallabies last year. Nice to have so much talent available!

    Wallabies 2021

No, like freakish skills and the ability to beat a man one on one. Vunivalu also looks to be a bit quicker than Folau. I’m not seriously suggesting he walk into the Wallabies at fullback but I would not be at all surprised to see him flourish in that position.
