    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

    No you haven't.

    2011 Spring Tour

Which year? 2010 or 2011? He was injured all 2011, if I'm correct.

    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

Ah, Drexl. Mate, let's just say that you have clearly stated your opinion that Joubert is a cheat. Personally, I think that is crazy, but you had your say, OK? Let's let this one go now. If not, I'm sure the thread will be closed and people given warnings / banned.

    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

Welcome Drexl, A bit controversial in your first post, mate. But no-one can say you didn't do your research. I think the consensus on G&GR is that Joubert let things go too much, and yes, it probably favoured the ABs, but shit happens.

    Blind-Blindside

Elsom will be a very good SuperRugby player, but surely his test days are over. His body is finished. Higgers - some people think he's awesome, some think too loose, too many errors. Let's compromise and say that he is a very good Super level player and a borderline test player. Like Spies. If...

    Congratulations France

Bienvenue grenouille verte, interesting stuff. Of course, there's a few people around here who will agree with Harinordoquy about Richie. The interesting thing is that they were without a coach, and almost won the whole thing. At the Brumbies, they won their last Super Trophy without a coach...

    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

And another thing about Richie McCaw is ... :p

    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

Jay - there are no "basic errors" in my YouTube video. Only Kiwis trying to defend it. I've never had a non-Kiwi argue with any of the findings. Your analysis of the Kaino incident demonstrates that you look at these things with wishful thinking only. You are off the scale, and I'm not going to...

    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

I agree with comments that say Joubert is a good ref, and it's right to ridicule the idea that he was biased. It's also fair to say that the commentators in the video were trying to make a point. They've picked examples to make their point, just as I did. But some of the defences from Jay and...

The end of the Adidas jersey debate

    No numbers. Something fishy.

Thanks to Green and Gold Rugby: A Lone Winner

I agree Hugh, it was all pretty civilised. A few heated exchanges, as you would expect, but in general very good considering the tension. Now that we all agree that Robbie is crap there should be no more disagreements until the Reds play the Waratahs.

    Did Joubert feel the pressure?

Joubert does favour New Zealand. But not out of bias, just in terms of the kinds of things he looks for. He goes with dominance even if that dominance is illegally earned. Still, he is clearly a very good ref.

    The Haka

Another haka thread? Or the same one as last time? I can't tell. I'll post what I always post - I don't care what dance they perform, as long as it takes one minute tops. They should get a fine if it goes longer than 1:00. In fact, I'll do a quick YouTube search for hakas and time them. Buck...

    So where to from here?

I thought whatsisname, the thin bloke who doesn't talk much, all his sides win - you know who I mean - I thought he was going to do a few sessions with the Wobs. Didn't happen?

2011 IRB Player of the Year

Are you saying he was bad? If so, I didn't notice. He had a quiet RWC, but he was spectacular prior to that. Here's someone today calling him the Future AB captain. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rugby/news/article.cfm?c_id=80&objectid=10760509

    So where to from here?

Beale is worth a shot at 5/8. He was the player of the tournament at ARC level. So for sure, he can have a season to develop at SuperRugby level.

2011 IRB Player of the Year

I agree with sudrugby that Harinordoquy is not the best French player. I like the Georgian frog, however you spell his name. Weepu - joke; Genia - can think of plenty of better players. I'm just glad that McCaw isn't winning it again. I would also have thought that Read would be in the list...

    RMC vs HAC

I'm an old UWS Hawkesbury man, although I didn't play for the blood and mustard (I was playing for the erstwhile Blackheath Wildfires). I can't make it but have a big day!
