Amongst all the downbeat vibe from the Wallabies' current position, there is a big beacon of light for me that, in such a context, must be sincerely congratulated for its:
- quality
- spirit
- good, regular rugby analysis, in depth and of a type far exceeding the mainstream rugby media in quality and thought
- unpaid leadership and unpaid contribution
- ever-present wit and imagination of articles and commentary
- growth as a respected, globally recognised 'new media' outlet
...and that is: Green and Gold Rugby (.com).
I can only speak for myself, and whilst I've had some wild arguments here, the fantastic unpaid work of:
Gagger, Scarfman, Scott Allen (Austin), Lance Free, Mr Timms, Juan Cote, Barbarian, Cyclopath, Sully, Lee Grant, Zeno, Slatts, Bob Dwyer (yeah, man!), RugbyReg, Moses...and no doubt many others I may have missed....has, for me
...made the recent experience of and immersion in Australian rugby so much more more enjoyable, insightful and fun! I don't know where my rugby passion would be today without this fine work and these fine people (some of whom I've had the pleasure to get to know). I just must salute you one and all.
Thanks for making the fantastic effort, very few would. You've done something fine.
