    Waratahs V Force - Superugby Rd 4

    Here's the Waratah's S12/14/15 history. Year Pos 1996 7 1997 9 1998 6 1999 8 2000 9 2001 8 2002 2 2003 5 2004 8 2005 2 2006 3 2007 13 2008 2 2009 5 2010 3 2011 5 A hell of a lot of results in the mediocre range. Prior to 2002 we tended to come mid-field. After 2002 we tend to just make the...

    Waratahs V Force - Superugby Rd 4

I'm not trying to insult the Tahs, just trying to figure out why they tend to have solid, unspectacular ( ... mediocre? ... ) results every year. If you can show me my assumption is wrong, fair enough, otherwise we have to figure out what's going on. You mention the Blues - they have the 2nd...

    Identifying Signatures

Tim Horan makes little circles on his "i's"?? .

    Waratahs V Force - Superugby Rd 4

I have a theory, and if someone can be bothered looking the numbers up, they can prove me right or wrong. All teams in the history of the Super 12 (onwards) have had good seasons and bad. I think even the Crusaders came last once. But I'd say the Tahs have the tightest concentration of results...

    Waerea-Hargreaves to the Tahs?

Rugby League coaching: You blokes run upright into contact, and you other blokes shoulder charge them when they do. Do that 5 times, then someone kick the ball so that it bounces in a completely random manner so that we have a 50/50 chance of scoring.

    Byrnes gets 10 Weeks

No-one here knows TC's evidence. He might have said: he held me on the ground and repeatedly dug his fingers into my eyes. All we've got is dodgy video which stops just when it gets interesting.

Are the Brumbies up the Creek..

Fantastic result. Jake managed to be a prick for a couple weeks, then by coming to his senses he can capitalise upon his loyalty. Whatever else went on, this is a great decision and great for the Brums. Good on ya Aussie Jake!

    Graham Henry joins Pumas

Profile boost? How can I say this politely? I disagree with you that the coach of a side who holds the Webb Ellis, Bledisloe and Freedom Cups will only bring "profile." I suspect he knows a thing or two about how to beat RSA and AUS.

Are the Brumbies up the Creek..

Cheika, Louden, Larkham, whoever. Brumbies need an option yesterday and they need JW to categorically state that he's not interested. What kind of bloke leaves his options open from Day 1? No committment? No personal sacrifice? Who would want to play for a guy like that?

    Graham Henry joins Pumas

Excellent appointment for the Pumas. Should be a fun comp.

Are the Brumbies up the Creek..

Cheika is becoming the forgotten man of Aus rugby. Or maybe he has forgotten about us. Moving to the Brumbies would be a pay cut, for sure.

Are the Brumbies up the Creek..

When I read the first article, I thought "what bullshit, JW would never walk out on the Brumbies so quickly". Then I read the second article. It's exactly as Nathan said: JW has reduced his firm committment to one year, and would clearly like to be coaching at the RWC in 2015. Pretty shitty, if...

    Quade Coopers Recovery

How about a recovery session in a Melbourne pub? It might help his return if he watched his team play.

Graham Henry: "That little prick [Quade] Cooper helped us.''

Has anyone posted this yet? Henry not happy. http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/1629645/latest-from-wire/ Bon seems to be agreeing with something I can't see. Did spooony post the link?

Betting tips: AKA I'm crazy and think this team is undervalued

I love this thread. I'm often in the same situation. My method of betting is to actually try to GUESS the odds before I go online. Sometimes, my version of reality is very different to the bookies. I'm with you meatsask, I'd probably tip the Landers FTW.

New South Wales v Queensland: 130th Anniversary

This is what I love most about following the Tahs in SuperRugby. We have the only two real teams in the compeitions. The rest were invented by Rupert Murdoch's henchmen.

    National Registration Day

The nearest rugby team is 45 minutes drive away. We just have local soccer and league. And there's no way he's playing league.

I'm off to U7s ... soccer registration this morning. Where's that crying smiley?

    Rugby's ugly face

What kind of idiot calls an Islander a coconut when you're playing rugby with them? My life's not worth it. Maybe this is about a couple of officials and too much is being made of it? Dunno.

    Clarity on Passing

I'm starting to think that Shadenfreude and Inside Shoulder are the same person. If so, I love it! I can imagine him fighting for the keyboard with himself.
