    So where to from here?

Yeah - lineouts, I know. But if you had to blame someone - either Vickerman or Williams - I know who would be my prime suspect. It's hard for us to know, though.

    Spiro's article today

Is it a waste of a post to say that I don't intend to read what silly old Spiro has to say? Since Green and Gold Rugby came along (and commentators like Gagger, Austin and MrTimms), the bar has been raised on Australian rugby journalism, and clowns like Growden (Hi Greg!) and the Greek Kiwi (Hi...

    So where to from here?

Mate, it's the people who don't rate the bloke in your avatar that astound me. The bloke is running a illicit concrete pills lab in his basement and people say he needs to be cleared out. He'd be my first picked any day. In fact, make him captain for the Lions tour.

    So where to from here?

I only ever read every second line of his rants. Usually there's some new stuff ot think about in there, along with some north of the border madness.

    So where to from here?

Where to from here? Received a red hot rant from Scarf Senior: Good rant, I particularly agree about Farr-Jones' criticisms of Cooper. NFJ has gone from hero to zero in my book.

    JON to step down

Good timing from JON - he hasn't been terrible, but it's time to take another look at the whole thing. Also - announcing it now forestalls people trying to get rid of you.

RWC FINAL - New Zealand vs France

This is OK because it's a RWC, but normally in rugby the host country changes colours. This is - traditionally - to save touring sides from having to bring a entire spare kit for the whole team, but was continued as an act of hospitality. This is another rugby tradition that is being killed and...

    Robbie Deans

Gits shows his lack of class. Still, he is justifibaly pissed off - he should have been in the squad.

    So where to from here?

A staggering post. We fail to front up in the tight 5 and the only guy you drop is Vickerman? Let's just say I would be working from the other end of the tunnel - keep Vickerman and look around for who can partner him. Vickerman might stay for the Lions tour, you know.

Australia: now the worlds most hated team, and whinging saffas.

It's the stuff at the ground that worries me. It's part of the rugby ethos to shake hands and have a beer after the game. If we go the way of league / soccer, there's not much point following the game any more.

Is this the worst WC for ref moaning??

One interesting thing was watching all the old RWC games this week on replay on Fox. The refs made a LOT of errors. I think the biggest change from 1987 to 2011 is the way that cheating is now coached as part of the skill set. The rise of the #7 as the most important player hasn't helped our...

    Robbie Deans

The Wallabies "set play" is for Cooper to skip the pass to Beale in the second line, and for him to individually magic up a try. Sometimes JOC (James O'Connor) does it instead. If you take those tries out of the playbook, we've got nothing. Miracle a couple of tries, and hold on for the win.

    So where to from here?

Cheers ABM, the thoughts are appreciated. I only disagree about the quality of our backline play. For me, the lack of known combinations has contributed to a backline that just hasn't fired in a long time. We need to figure out who we want to be, what the plan is, and how to execute it. We're a...

    Robbie Deans

Yes, Link did apply, and yes, he was the leading candidate, but JON pulled a hammy so that we could delay the decision until after the Kiwis made their decision. It was very clever.

    So where to from here?

And Link as Deans' assistant?? I don't think so.

    So where to from here?

I agree Braveheart. I think Samo is finished, but was the best 8 man we had. Vickerman was our 2nd best forward. We talk about giving the players "concrete pills." Mate, that bloke has a concrete lab in his bedroom. Kepu is still progressing. I think our best scrum coach is Axel Foley and we'll...

Australia: now the worlds most hated team, and whinging saffas.

SaderCheif, I'm surprised that you are blaming the media for that. I'm not sure Henry's triumphalism is appropriate there. The whole idea that nobody should dare to niggle Richie would be offensive if it weren't ludicrous. Anyway Cheif, Henry may yet have that smirk wiped off his dial.

    Congrats All Blacks!

Actually, I want to congratulate the AB supporters here. Either they are being good sports or are too drunk to type. I saw a "Rooting for the Wallabies" t-shirt in the crowd last night - I hope they have a positive report of the Kiwis in the stadium and the pubs.

    Well done boys

Baabaa, you need to deal with the Ireland blog issue. OK? What's good for the goose is good for the gander. As I said, you don;t get to decide when I'm supposed to be pissed off the with Wallabies and when I'm patting them on the back. That's all I'm going to say about this mistimed and awkward...

    Well done boys

Because I objected to the sentiment in this thread, as did others. Plenty of people objected to the sentiment of your Ireland blog posts, but I'm sure you defended your right to post them. Sully - just piss off mate. Don't call me a 5 year old for rationally expressing an opinion that differs...
