Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

No-one could ever be concerned with Hoopers size or that he is included in any pack.

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Not really. DR could have played Hodge at fullback with Petaia on the wing or put Vunivalu in there somewhere

Wright is a good choice to play as the second fullback in the back 3. Hope he has matured a little. This team could tear the Poms apart with a lot of ball. Very hard to stop up the middle and out wide.

    Australia v England Test 1 Sat. July 2 @1955

The team for Saturday, and in particular the halves, will be ready to role on the weekend after a full weeks prep together and I think we can be safe in assuming that they will not face as much adversity this time around. Playing with Quade at 10 and with Noah at 10 are two very different...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I guess Noah starts with a game and a full week of training with the boys under his belt. JOC (James O'Connor) to the bench.

Campbell had a bad game, the worst I have seen from him playing out of position on the wing. Edmed is a long way from the test park but will likely get there in time. Hodge has runs on the board.

Quade could be fine. It was a twinge and he was unsure about going forward. Hopefully it is nothing and he can take his place. It was the right decision not to play as we then had cover at 10, as opposed to playing for 5-10 minutes and then coming off.

    Australia v England Test 1 Sat. July 2 @1955

I think he should have started. DRs thinking was probably to bring us home with some grunt as when TT comes off the bench

Better for us. Other than riling up Swain he did not offer much else. I suspect Philip, Holloway and Frost will not react the same way

GAGR Wallaby POTY v England (1st test)

    3. Porecki 2. Slipper 1. Noah HM - Kellaway, Neville, Leota, FF (Folau Fainga'a), Kerevi, MK.

I reckon so. AAA likely to miss a week one would think so Slipper on the pine to back up TT if fit. Bell and Sio to handle the LH side.

    Australia v England Test 1 Sat. July 2 @1955

I disagree. It was a gutsy performance no doubt and his goal kicking was sublime, but QC (Quade Cooper) or JOC (James O'Connor) will be able to unlock the Poms defence with the power outside 10 much better. One of them to start with Noah on the pine i reckon. He is still lacking in the playmaking stakes but a mammoth game from...

We look a little underwhelming in the front and second rows, which is never a good thing against England

    The Poms? Probably

    Wallabies 2023

Slipper has the experience(and can adjust) and Bell has shown he can be vulnerable at the highest level at scrum time. I would start the Brumbies front row in test 1, particularly so seeing TT is coming back from injury.
