Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

We may see AAA start with TT coming on early in the second half. AAA is very accurate around the coal face early. Frost is going to have to step up his physicality big time!

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

I reckon we will see a 6-2 bench with LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) in place of Vunivalu and only one Wilson. Valetini at 6 or 8

His option taking under pressure is far superior

Wilson won the Qld players player award and was arguably the best Oz back rower in Super Rugby. No one is suggesting Bobby V. gets replaced but Wilson could easily be there on form.

I think start Leota at 6 with a 6-2 bench carrying both Wilson and Samu. Wilson comes in at around 50 minutes and Leota can either move to the row or come off. Valetini and Hooper start.

I’d have him straight back in if fit

There is a lot of rugby to be played this year. Vunivalu and others will get their chance. Good to have him in the last 15-20 when things open up.

6/2 bench. Start Valetini and Wilson with Hooper and carry Leota as the extra forward.

Yeah. They need to take the points on offer

They have obviously targeted him, as all teams do. If he is allowed to play his natural game we are generally on the front foot. EJ (Eddie Jones) is a lot of things but he is no fool.

It is a matter of opinion. Each to their own. I like the way that when the Reds need something under pressure McDermott is mostly able to deliver it whilst marshalling his troops. Same with Wilson. We forget he is also a big body that will carry in to the teeth of the defence all day as well as...

So many head knocks in this series

No one thinks that, but a level head to direct play in the last 10 minutes last week sure might have helped

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

I think we have been solidly beaten at the breakdown for the majority of the first two tests. We need to compete here better, specifically in the first quarter. I think that Rennie will make a couple of unforced changes. I would like to see Wilson start at 6 or 8 and McDermott come onto the...

Yes, Wilson carried for over a 1000m in Super Rugby this year, second only to Tom Banks from all Australian players and 10th overall in al SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) players. He may not have quite the brute force of Leota but his game is much more refined.

Any chance that Jordan Petaia can do a Johnny Sexton and be available for the weekend?

Wilson starts in the back row with Hooper and Bobby V. and Leota goes to the bench as a second rower or sits it out.

Yes, I see he could have just gone wide and covered his man

There was no chance of that. He was there in the middle and could only have tackled the inside man from memory
