Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

And do what? Watch the try being scored? Perese had a legitimate chance of securing that ball and if not scoring at the other end, then coming very close. He was knocking the ball up in view of catching it, not knocking the ball down to cynically stop the play. It needs to be looked at. I reckon...

When Petaia got injured we no longer had a cannon in the arsenal and it hurt us territory wise.

And thats the issue with Wright at 15. He is going to try it 9 times out of 10. Best to start Hodge at 15 and Wright on the flank.

They need to sign one or more of these blokes back in Oz

Noah has done well and is improving but still good to have another very good option in QC (Quade Cooper). JOC (James O'Connor) looks out of sorts and the young blokes in Oz A have also been going well but are not yet ready. Agree that Hodge is the logical choice at 15 now.

How is this not attacking the head of an opponent?

    Wallabies 2023

I would opt for QC (Quade Cooper) and two others. I think we are really lacking in the playmaking stakes and it does not look like JOC (James O'Connor) is the answer

With the current injuries one would think that he may be useful?

When is Rory Arnold due to head to Japan and will he be available for the RC?

But it was not enough. TT was loose early and when he was getting in to the game he was replaced. He is better suited to coming off the bench until match fit. Hunter was good but I think Ikitau really compliments Kerevis game and marshals our midfield defence. Lenny is the bloke that does the...

McDermott should have been on the bench. He is very good at directing our play late in the game.

With no Cooper at 10 I am guessing that Kerevi feels he needs to take on more of a playmaking role. DR may even be asking for it? Kerevi is playing well. They are dropping like flys around him. Hopefully Len Ikitau is back and maybe Hodge at 15 will relieve some pressure from him. Our backline...

Paisami played well but we missed Ikitaus defensive alignment and his cool head in attack

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

I would start Holloway with Philip and leave Frost on the bench, or the other way around. Holloway will not be effective in the back row at this level, certainly not nearly as effective as Valetini, Leota and Hooper. With Neville likely out we have a big hole in the second row. The back row is...

Hopefully next week we have AAA, Ikitau, Holloway and Cooper back. We need a few as we are surely running very thin all over. McDermott needs to come on to the bench as does Vunivalu. Hate to say it but Hodge should probably start at 15 for his boot and cool head. Wright was very hot and cold...

Good performance by Aus A. Played more controlled rugby and their set piece was strong.
