Yes I believe the correct spelling is Tevita. I had the good fortune to meet his parents down at Coogee Oval last year. They were visiting from Tonga and explained that Tevita is the Tongan equivalent of David.

Wrong thread I know, but I see the Sydney Stars have merged (?) with the Country Eagles. Is this the first chink in the armour of the NRC? The resulting team (Uni, Easts, Wicks, Country) would seem to have too many class players with many to miss out, especially those who are currently based in...

This is on the Randwick web site and there is a privately published book available but I can't remember the title or author. If you contact the club someone may know. http://www.randwickrugby.com.au/rdrufc/history

Sonny Satuala was outstanding again. Early days, but he looks like the "recruit of the year" IMO. As per Sid's comments above, whoever organised Ladies Day this year did an outstanding job. However, given their obvious lack of interest in the game and the spectacular outfits on display, we did...

May still happen! The Pirates seldom string 2 good games together.

A bit of nail biting down at Coogee this arvo. Wicks went to sleep at 25-0 and Woods came storming back. Only a late try to captain courageous Mark Baldwin got the Wicks home. 4 tries each, so BPs to both teams. See you at Coogee next Saturday Dave!

Hmmm...I'd still follow the SS even if the Wallabies were ranked 613 in the world. Sure I want the Wallabies to do well and I accept that their success helps all levels of the game to some extent, but rugby at the grade / colts level is the people's game. The Wallabies are a business which I...

Good point HJ (see my previous complaint about Freier attracting 10 points). Whilst being wary of making the points system even more complicated, and your comments abouts unexpected consequences, maybe there should be a special allowance for the over 35s? Given that the average age of the Wicks...

Great to see 3rd and 4th grade back at Coogee this year :D

Anyone know the extent of the injuries to Ned Hanigan and Mitch Short? I've seen both of them hobbling around in moonboots.

Imagine him and Freier coming off the bench in 1sts! I wonder if they're working on Pat Phibbs to make a comeback as well? Would certainly lift the average age.

    Sydney Colts - 2016

East's listing shows the run on team totalled 38 points v the allowance of 40. Their are 2 subs listed (1 point each) which, if they had taken the field at some point, would have moved Easts to 40 points and therefore unable to make any more subs. Not sure why the 2 subs haven't been included in...

One of the 7 team said last Saturday that he hoped Penrith could return to their "glory years" -- when were they?
