    Australian Rugby / RA

I don't watch it. Ironically I just stand in the kitchen and cook the dinner.

My kids are about to fall asleep and my wife will come downstairs and start watching last night's MasterChef replay, a show with a bunch of people who want to be a chef, but lot slug it out in the industry and earn their stripes to get there. Phil Kearns is the masterchef contestant of sports...

    Aussie Player Exodus

That's if some of those leagues can even get started. I see there being a much higher chance of seeing some rugby in Aus and NZ where the virus doesn't seem to have run rampantly through the community. Second and third waves could see them shut down again and again. There is a real chance that...

    World Rugby Chairman

It would make World Rugby start to look FIFA level dodgy, but even FIFA wouldn't have him. In a normal organisation this would have to have enough stink about it to sink the seconder (FFR), but Laporte (FFR President) to my understanding, will be elected unopposed. Interestingly, this seems...

    Australian Rugby / RA

I think if you speculate too much in the media now you embarass yourself a bit like league. Until there is a clear.government direction on what is possible, how do you move forward. Castle's comment was in regard to resuming rugby, not tv deals. I would like more detail on the overseas...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It was the conference system that changed things for me regarding SA. If the country was located where Japan or Indonesia is, I wouldn't feel the same, but sending a team off on what invariably becomes a three week tour just disjointed the season too much, especially if you are attending home...

You also need to be worth going after. I dont think GAGR would be.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'm hopeful that if it uses existing teams, whether Aus only or Aus and NZ people will buy in. It is the SA component that most people struggle with IMO.

    True, she's not a coach.

    Australian Rugby / RA

So the criticism is that she donated a huge wad of cash back to RA in two parts, most likely in the same pay cycle. Maybe if the players hadn't have dragged this out for so long she could have done it in one hit.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Why - she's actually still working. Players are bloody lucky to get 35%. Realistically no-one will be recruiting anywhere in the world, and deals at the other end of this are unlikely to be as big as they are now.

Hang on. Why are they rushing. One article I read (something Ruperty, cant remember exact source), said Kearns too busy to save Rugby until 2021.

Rebels vs Lions, Round 6 2020, 07/03 AAMI Park 7:15pm

Hope nobody at the match was sitting too close to a sniffling gentleman in section 9. From The Age. "Another man in his 50s arrived in Melbourne from Seattle on March 7 on Virgin Australia flight VA24. Travellers on adjacent rows on the flight are being contacted. The man had a dry cough and...

and any time you want to send us another guy you are paying not to play we will take them. But we don't have a guy we don't want and can't sack.

    Rebels 2020

It's a dangerous game that you see played out in AFL all the time. Players want to head back home at some point. Clubs in non-traditional areas need to fight to keep guys who are in contract. The Rebels should force him to sit out a year if he doesn't want to play here and they can't get a...

Maybe it's reflective of rumored upcoming eligibility changes for the Wallabies creating a need to find talent elsewhere ahead of the floodgates opening.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

A good mate of mine played in Vientiane around five or six years back. At the time there were two teams. That growth level is huge.
