    Waratahs v Blues MOM

You reckon that's interesting. Someone gave Douglas 3 points for that performance. I think #1 Tah has just been exposed as Kane's Mum. The big fella's sadly off his game at the moment.

    Shute Shield 2011

If you come to the grand final you will hear uni's at the end of the first grade game.

    Blues v NSW Waratahs @ Auckland - 2011R09

Grant is big but he doesn't really play like a big player. He relies pretty much on speed which he has plenty of, but rarely uses size or strength. I would back Kingston to be a better defender against big wingers.

Damn, I thought you'd managed to get away with it, Bruce.

    Western Force 2012

I think Timani has had some time at the Force and it didn't work out well. I suspect he would be unlikely to go back. Sam Carter from Brums Academy is worth a look. Played most of the year in 1st grade last year for Uni and is still only 21. He's tall, athletic, very good at lineout time and is...

Players of the Match - Ponies v Tahs

Tahs: 3. Kepu 2. Burgess 1. Fitzpatrick Best game I have seen from Kepu. The first prop this year to handle Palmer well and very good around the park. Fitzy stepped up and played well at set piece (apart from the odd dodgy throw) and very well in the loose. Find it strange that some are giving...

Rebel Army vs GAGR - Sydney Touch Game

I think I'll be down for the game so I'm a possible. I've got pakalani's hands and baxter's skill set and pace.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Great to see you back, Lee. I was beginning to worry that the events of last Saturday night had sent you into an acute depressive catatonia.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

One thing's for sure. Kepu has packed hundreds of scrums against Palmer at training and Foley has coached him for a while, so they will know what to expect.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Ryan didn't pack down against Palmer as they are both tight heads. Jerry Y struggled against him until he broke his ankle and went off. Things actually improved when Tilse went to LHP and Ryan came on. Tilse will be on the bench this week as they need LHP cover. If they play Ryan it would pretty...

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Keps to lhp and tilse to the bench makes the most sense. Ryan is a thp only whereas tilse plays both sides. As Baxter doesn't play lhp it would mean big trouble if kepu was hurt and Ryan was on the bench.

    Hard men of australian rugby

Dave Carter. They still talk about a game in Tamworth in the 80s when NSW Country was playing the All Blacks. Carter was a one man wrecking ball and even the ABs, including noted hard man Mark "cowboy" Shaw were impressed. He was picked for the Wallabies soon after.
