Probably not the best advertisement for those brand new adidas boots he's wearing.

    Rugby television programs

http://m.youtube.com/user/TTRugbyVids Been watching the NZ ReUnion show on here, really enjoyable show. They did some excellent analysis of the last Bledisloe in the latest episode.

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

To be fair, Kearns and Marto did have a fair whinge about the refereeing. Especially the Aus maul in the second half where he told Genia to use it and he didn't, so a scrum was set, which was an interesting call. Whether you think Joubert should've told them to use it at that point or not, Genia...

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

Enjoyable game to watch despite Joubert's best attempts. To'omua was probably Wallabies best IMO. Can't believe Nic White wasn't used. Aaron Smith and Sam Cane were both exceptional for ABs. Would love to see a bomb-catching contest between the two Israels, Dagg v Folau, first to drop a...

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

All 4 tries have been excellent. Joubert has not been. I'm begging him to just let the ball come out of the scrum and not blow a penalty but he's not listening. I hate to ref bash but he's restricting this game from reaching its potential which is extremely high, and this performance compared...

All Blacks v Wallabies, Dunedin, 19th October 2013

Cory Jane missing out is a sad story, he's clearly put in a massive effort to return to rugby less than 7 months after a knee reco, and then to make the ABs after 120 minutes of NPC is huge. Would've been a nice reward for him to play on home soil in his comeback test.

    2013 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Semi finals start tonight. Wellington v Counties and Canterbury v Auckland in the premiership. Tasman v Southland and Otago v Hawkes Bay in the championship. Backing all the home teams, but only confident about Canterbury beating the Jaffas, the other 3 could go either way. In an...

    Shute Shield 2014

"· In time Clubs may take a decision to withdraw from Premier Rugby, but remain a SRU Club playing Club Rugby, and possibly even vice versa. · This could then allow new participants in Premier or Club Rugby, subject to the requirements of the SRU." This I found interesting. Suggesting that...

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

The dominant team gets rewarded with FK's just as they do on the first offence currently. I would just change it so that they're always FK's, because so many scrum penalties could easily go either way. I don't think someone putting a hand on the ground to stablilise themselves or missing a bind...

    Gold Coast 7's - 12 & 13 Oct

Tommasi Cama is a freak. 32 years old and still showing the world how to play sevens.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Every scrum infringement should be a FK. Penalty try can still occur if a team collapses on their own line, and front row players can still be binned for collapsing repeatedly, especially near their own line. But no PG's should be able to be kicked from scrum infringements.

Springboks v All Blacks, Johannesburg, Oct 5th 2013

Nigel Owens was extremely good, and for me he's now the best international ref going. However, to bin Ben Franks for a pretty soft (but still illegal and stupid) swinging arm and to not give the same yellow card treatment to the beast for a high shoulder to the head of a man without the ball and...

Springboks v All Blacks, Johannesburg, Oct 5th 2013

If there's been a better game of rugby this year than that, I'd like to see it. Decided to watch it live and thankful that I did. Habana's second try was incredible, Kieran Read gave a masterclass and for McCaw to play the entire game first game back from a medial tear is immense. As for...

    New Zealand Rugby Team Watch

Yeah you're right, can't believe I forgot about Luatua, he's been outstanding this year and has looked more like a 60 test veteran than someone playing his first international season. With Vito there as well there's some massive competition.

    Wendell Sailor and the ARU

To the people saying he's not taking responsibility for his actions, don't judge him by that one passage. Having heard a couple of interviews with him about this (haven't read the book but I intend to) he does take full responsibility and admits he was in the wrong for a long time. People want...

    All black tactics

Great piece, the sort of stuff that should be in the papers but that's just beating a dead horse. One of the things I found most interesting was the huge difference in defensive contests between the two. In high intensity test matches that is a massive gap, and it means I'm not going crazy for...
