2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Why? Surely Swain is a better fit at lock and in our best performances this year he has been there with Philip. Frost has been good off the bench.

It means I think he will go well…..a la Quade.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Noah has been better in patches but still has not shown his game management or playmaking skills to be where we need our 10s to consistently be. Its a big ask throwing Foley in there but I would not be surprised to see him perform at a pretty good level, as QC (Quade Cooper) did when given the chance. This is...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I can see Foley playing in place of Lolesio and possibly Foketi in for Paisami as both those blokes had head knocks last week. Hodge should be at 15. Kellaway could replace Wright logically. Samu is a 6/8 and we need a legit 7 against the darkness. McReight has consistently been one of our best...

I would like to see Foley starting. We need to know how he is travelling.

Yes. McReight a definite starter, particularly with Savea absent. He may give us a point of difference on the pill.

There are Foley and Beale. We don’t need anyone in the back row or second row and I doubt Beale will be required. Who else would you have? We sure could use Quade and Kerevi about now!

Both McReight and Valetini do it well. Porecki also.

Yes, BPA was our best hooker last year. I have not seen any footage of him since he left. If he is going well no doubt he will be included on the EOYT.

White was getting it from the Boks and their supporters from the get go. He looked rattled and his play reflected it. If we had not had issues with 10 and 12 I am sure that DR would have replaced White early.

Agree. The ref does not decide the game. Sure they make mistakes but none are openly biased to one side or the other. At this level the team should know and be prepared for the ref who has been assigned to the game. No question about it. They all have slightly different interpretations of the...

Its certainly a negative stifling type of game. In the past we have matched up well to it and have been able to go around or through them in the backs

FF (Folau Fainga'a) is looking the best he has since his debut. He probably brings a bit more power than Porecki who might get around a little quicker. A bit of rotation there and at half back is probably not a bad thing?

Thats a good combo for the ABs. They are a different proposition than SA that require a bit more muscle. Holloway might go well.

    Wallabies 2023

Maybe. I had been critical of both Arnold and Holloway but both were quite busy and getting through some work. I think Swain stepped it up quite a bit when he came on but Leota was a step below Holloway, certainly not more effective. Holloways game is more polished. Their forwards just blasted...

    Wallabies 2023

After second viewing and keeping an eye on the forwards, none of them were terrible. Our set piece was decent, even when Philip was off the park. FF (Folau Fainga'a) had a couple of throws picked off but they were straight. Valetini carried well and was in everything and McReight covered a huge amount of ground...

After watching it again last night I agree. Hodge played well. He took every high ball that came his way and his line kicking was much improved from the previous week. He also made some massive tackles only missing one. Kellaway looked solid as well. Tom Wright took some poor options, twice...

I think Rennie would play Kellaway at 15 with Petaia coming on to the wing

I’ll have to watch it again but I thought Hodge went alright last night?
