2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

The bloke has serious skills and will only get stronger. Our best second row this year has been with him and Philip starting. He needs to get his top two inches in order though. No matter the outcome this incident will travel with him for a long time.

No word on Swain? If he is free to play he should start with Philip. That has been our best combo this year. Neville or Frost on the pine with Holloway at 6 I reckon. McReight was great off the bench but has also been good starting. White to start for sure with Tate on the bench.

    What time is Swains hearing?

    Wallabies 2023

Gordon did some good things and tried hard throughout but his game is all over the place. The difference in quick service when White came on was startling. Gordon also leaves the pill in too long. A couple of times he got caught or the ball was turned over. Whites kicking is also far superior...

With Samu at 7 and a genuine lineout option Gleeson could be played at 6.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Paisami come in at 12 as well. He will give Foley some better options in attack.

Assuming we get Lolesio and Paisami back, who starts at 10 and 12?

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I dont think so. Watching it live and then again the replay makes it very clear that the call is odd. He should have just called on time as he was taking the kick. There was no reason to stop the play. All he had to do was call on time when Foley kicked the pill. He had very little control the...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

You would hope not but there have been professionals in the past who have done just that. I agree with you though. There was no intent to injure but its was exceedingly clumsy and he will most likely be made a scapegoat of. Tupaea had his legs as wide as they could go without actually doing the...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I was questioning bad calls both ways from the beginning. Raynal just got so much wrong and never had control of the game. He is a crap ref and should not be anywhere near test rugby anytime soon. He obviously was not in sinc with the other officials and the game was never allowed to flow. The...

He also made one beauty on Clarke in full gallop. Its not his strength, as we already knew. I think he is a bit quicker than Noah over 15m and his passing is better. It was a pretty good performance but it took a while for him to get up to speed.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

There is some merit in starting Samu and finishing with a very fast backrow of Samu, McReight and Valetini………if all goes to plan. Being that NZ are without Ardie Savea and are playing a lock at 6, McReights speed and effectiveness at the breakdown may have been a bonus in establishing parity...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I don’t mind the choice of Foley at 10 and am looking forward to seeing him play. However putting him in between Gordon and Foketi behind a pack that does not look great on paper is not doing him any favours. It will be sink or swim. Hopefully the back row muscles up and we get some decent front...

Yeah, no stand outs like Swain or Arnold starting but 5 legit options. Samu is a great target away from their recognised jumpers.

Kellaway has a decent boot. Not sure about Foketi? Leaving Hodge out is odd, maybe Kellaway has been knocking down the door in training?
