    Southern Inland Rugby 2022

2 1st grade games & 4 2nd grade games? 2 1st grade games in a round of rugby? I know we are transitioning & still struggling with covid but surely another draw needs to be done.

Siru FB report says Waratahs v Leeton 2nd grade 34 - 0, Reasoning. Unless Phantoms had some or a lot of players involved in both games.

You would imagine that SIRU could see the logic in what you put forward here Reasoning. I also think that clubs should be honest before Round 9 about what grades they can actually offer. Leeton’s girls team have forfeited at least once & have been struggling on the scoreboard in most games. I...

I was away for the day Mauler so I didn’t get to watch Blacks v City game. Have to be happy with the result though given the quality of the opposition. I’m sure we’ll see a manipulation of the draw Reasoning given the woes of Leeton.

When Hay played Reddies in 2nd grade last Saturday, Reddies 1st, Womens & 3rd grades had to sit out. Griffith 1st, Womens, 2nd & 3rd grades had to sit out. So that Hay 2nd grade was afforded an opportunity to play rugby last Saturday 7 other teams couldn’t play. No wonder we are having a lot of...

In past eras we’ve had clubs have players play 2nd grade as well as 1st grade to fulfill commitments. Visiting clubs should forfeit and get help to form a team from the home club. It’s not healthy for players to play 2 games one after the other.

Leeton are probably going to find it even more difficult in the next couple of rounds Mauler (have they got Steamers & Waratahs away). Could the draw be re organised with Hay becoming Leeton’s 2nd grade. Perhaps Griffith could assist Leeton with some players in the short term. We have 3 men’s...

I know uncontested scrums don’t constitute a forfeit if that situation eventuates once a game has started. Not sure if your team has to forfeit if you can’t contest scrums for the entirety of the match. Whole draw revolves around Hay. Whichever club plays Hay the rest of that club has to sit...

Judging from above comments every team is going to struggle against City. Tumut & Leeton probably competing to avoid the spoon. Interest seems to be who is going to make semis. Waratahs will be there. Aggies will improve their chances markedly with a victory on Saturday.

So Central, at this stage of the season what betting odds would you reckon would be fair odds about City winning the big dance - $1.50, $2.00 or $2.50?

Mitchell White is definitely out for Blacks and possibly Chris Latu. Griffith absolutely monstered Steamers in the scrum department so we (Blacks) might have an advantage there. Waratahs at home will be a different story than what we have faced so far in Steamers, Phantoms & Bulls. Reckon...

Griffith v Tumut game closer than score line suggests. Bulls dominated scrums until prop was injured near 1/2 time. Then there was uncontested scrums. Blacks are competent across the paddock but don’t really have that X factor player. Bulls will be hard to beat at home. Interesting game ahead...

Mauler I have no idea what assumptions you’re talking about. I was willing to let this go long ago. You’re heavily involved in what exactly? You keep bringing up the AR in the Albury v Griffith 1st grade game 1st round. Good on the young lady for getting in and having a go. To be fair could you...

Mauler, SIRU, Brumbies & SIRRA can only do so much. Club members have to be responsible for the running of home days. To keep players safer, to ensure fairer games and because of litigation qualified ARs are needed. The world has changed Mauler. If someone wants to play amateur rugby they have...

I think Lindommer people don’t recognise the job the touchy is doing. In this case the ref’s arrogance was the problem. In this zone we are short of refs but the one’s we have are good. The AR situation has been a struggle. This situation has led to some interesting scenarios. A couple of...

There’s a minute or something like that to go. Steamers score the try. Score will be Steamers 21 Blacks 20. We on the sideline feel dejected but sure. The ref isn’t certain because he’s unsighted. We have quite a young person being the AR of the 1st grade match. This is the decision that...

Hi Ted. I have sent a message through to Green & Gold about closing my a/c. That must not have been acted upon yet. Thanks for the reply. I hope you could understand what I was trying to say. A word of advice. Don’t reply to this person. If you don’t say what he wants to hear he’ll start on you...

"This type of message helps no one" "I'm calling out referee bagging" - Untrue "You did bag the AR which is essentially the same as bagging the ref" - Untrue "As per usual your comments are negative." "Shame on you" I didn't say anything about SIRU or SIRRA being broken. From what I can see...

Calling out referee bagging - "ref - who had a really good game". Calling out assistant referee bagging - "no offence to the young girl who was the lines person". Australia's referee development pathway wouldn't have directed an inexperienced young kid like that to be AR of a 1st grade match...
