He wasn't Robinson Crusoe in the 'basic errors' department, as Daz says, but any negative comments about player shortcomings and mistakes have been shelved by me for this game in light of the enormous commitment shown by every player that got a run last night, and the result that they were able...

Wallabies v All Blacks 20th October MOM

    3. Sharpe - inspirational, led from the front 2. Tapuai - showed good strength in contact and contained Conrad Smith 1. Harris - generally safe game, good defensively and superb goalkicking. Thought Palu and Douglas were strong as well.

OK, I started this particular line of discussion, so I best respond. When I referred to the 'stacked rosters of Uni and the Bank', I was simply referring to how many Reds they have on their books. At no stage was I referring to recruitment policy, possible enticements or attractive programs. I...

Wouldn't even have to be Harris kicking, to be fair. The last few Bleds that I've attended at Suncorp have unfortunately been well punctuated by booing Kiwi's whenever the Aussie kicker has lined up. One of my pet peeves, and I hope it doesn't happen. Nothing against kiwi's by the way, just...

I don't think they're too far away from another GF Jets and they have been consistently Top 5 since 2008. Not too many Reds, similar to Brothers, but still able to keep relatively good pace with the stacked rosters of Uni and Bank. Coaching staff have done a great job. You forgot the fishing...

It will be.......for them! Quite a number of NZer's resident in Brisbane these days, and bound to be a busload or three coming up from the GC. Can someone please report on the volume of the booing when "Äussie Mike" is lining up a kick for goal.

Just you. How is that relevant in a discussion about Morahan?

I say good on Skelton for taking the opportunity to play rugby overseas. He's been an excellent contributor for Easts over the last few years, has a massive engine and great attitude, and that can only be good for his new club. Who knows he may get spotted and move up a rung or two over there...

    2012 IRB Sevens - Gold Coast 7's - 13/14 October

Is Rex Tapuai too old for Sevens? Just thinking he might be a handy pickup if he is not with a franchise. Also Damon Murphy from Brisbane Brothers. Wouldn't harm to have a couple of óld heads'in there. The young guys looked like they lost their way a little today.

Fiji were simply superb today, very deserved back to back champions. Some excellent results including the Argies Plate victory, the French making the Plate final, and the Spanish winning the Bowl. Also good to see the Scots getting a trophy. The Aussies will be very disappointed in their day...

    2012 IRB Sevens - Gold Coast 7's - 13/14 October

I should've mentioned Jessie Parahi as well. He's been close to Oz's best player so far. Thought he might've been more prominent as a 15's player by now, is he affillited with any franchise?

Not sure what you mean by 'dodged a bullet'Hugh. I think it's a remarkable effort for any team to beat Fiji at Sevens. These guys have really benefitted from playing together as a team for some time now and a few are noticeably more developed than they were 12 months ago. Was very impressed...

Just something I heard, not sure of source or veracity and have to admit I was surprised when I heard it. I immediately thought of Man U and NY Yankees but it would be interesting to get a 2012 list. Maybe there was a poll immediately after the World Cup? The top 10 you've listed is impressive...
