I find it amazing that people are interpreting the SS draw as a deliberate attempt to undermine the NRC. Why do the clubs want to do that? My understanding is that the clubs are fully supportive of the NRC so why would they undermine it? I believe the change back to an April start is more...

Actually this whole issue is just another example of the questionable administration of rugby in Oz. The SS draw has been available as a draft since mid December and the only thing that's changed is the date of the bye weekend so if the NRC, ARU or NSWRU had any issues with it why haven't we...

Sorry if I upset NRC fans, but as far as I'm concerned the SS which runs for 18 rounds plus playoff series and involves 12 clubs with 4 grade and 3 colts teams each is more important to Australian Rugby than the mickey mouse NRC competition. The NRC should start later to avoid a clash with the...

Australian Rugby was doing OK in the past.....2 World Cups, Bledisloe Cup, Rugby Championship, big crowds at SS games, Super Rugby titles ;)

I didn't agree with that either, but at least there is more coverage for locks with some 6s able to play in that position. Scrum half is a specialist position and we need at least 3 able to play at the highest level.

Why doesn't the ARU should ban overseas players from Super rugby ie those who aren't eligible for the Wallabies? That would see more premier rugby players given a chance to show what they can do at a higher level. This year we had 2 of the 5 first choice half backs from o/s. How does that help...
