I suspect some of the Gen Blue guys will be in grade next week like Dylan Pietsch was last weekend.

The officials were referring to "the competition rules"as opposed to the Laws of Rugby. Not sure what they are but the ref's comment was something along the lines of "let's play on and someone else can sort it out later".

Who wore the 3 and 13 jumpers on Saturday for the Wicks?

I think Norths wanted to bring Luxton back on, having already been replaced, but the comp rules state that all available replacements must be used before a previously replaced player can return to the field. The ref seemed to think that the player being replaced was not really injured.

Uni lost colts 2nds and 3rds --- that hasn't happened too often in recent years has it?

Uni v Easts teams are up (click on > and then + sign) so I assume they will all be there eventually. Hopefully the scorers, player points and club championship standings will be there as well. I suspect the unpaid interns don't work on weekends.

I thought Jack Hayson's performance in 2nds was the best of the day across all the grades for Wicks. He was relentless at the breakdown and constantly worried the Pirates defence with the ball in hand. Good to see 1sts and 2nds playing running rugby!
