Western Force 2025

Although his weakness was his throwing. Strong scrummager, strong around the field and and in the tight but could be hot and cold with his throws. Hopefully he’s fixed that. As much as I’m loving Fez and Nasser getting Wallabiea gigs BPA could add some bulk and muscle in the pack.

Yep, what club would he be aligned to in Aus? Hopefully he can get a couple of games in to push for a spot in the TRC squad

God help me but my memory is different. I'd take a BPA (in the form he was before leaving) back at the Reds in a heart beat and back him for Gold. It has taken us some time to learn the lesson about throws being a basic hooker skill and while I Faessler has this nailed toan international level, both are good enough to look to their around the field skills. In which case a BPA in form for me though Faessler still has ceiling left.

Either way BPA making a challenge for the 2/16 can only be a good thing.

Great to see him back.

I’ve watched the majority of Castres season, I keep an eye on most Aussie players in the French system. Funnily enough I’m actually about 50km from Castres as I type. I’m in a gorgeous medieval town, Cordes-Sur-Ciel, on my honeymoon! I highly recommend the area :)
Off topic so apologies Force fans and mods, but what's the general vibe like re: the Olympics outside of Paris? Festive, couldn't give two shits, or somewhere in between?

And congrats on the wedding.

Eh bit of this bit of that. There are fan zones and stuff and a few of the events are spread around the country. I’ll see tonight as it’s the opening ceremony. As you know the french are very apathetic to any changes or government funding. For instance majority think making the Seine swimmable is a wank and a waste of time and generally allocation of funds are inappropriate in tough days.

I think it’s all awesome, Paris has never felt cleaner or more functional.

Western Force is excited to announce the appointment of Damian Steele as the Club’s new Fortescue Academy manager.

Steele has been appointed to the position made vacant following Chris Goodman’s promotion to the Club’s general manager of rugby role earlier in the year.

Where they will play much better no doubt. Cut out the middle man and go straight to the Force!
Hope so for the Wallabies sake. Is winning a comp a genuine thought though when picking up Tahs from mid table seasons? Cron loves his Shute Shield players and a few are back playing well at the moment.
