This is just wrong.

Korobiete won the John Eales medal in 2022 - he had been playing in Japan that year.

Kerevi's best seasons for the Wallabies were a period of late 2020 - 2022 and he was playing in Japan that whole time.
Read an article by Robbie Deans and he said the level of rugby in Japan is much higher than it was 14 years ago when he went there. It is not a place to go to retire anymore and the players fitness levels are right up there.

Nailed it
People quickly forgot who our few sprinkles of world class players are
No one was good in 2023 under jones and Kerevi just came off an acl injury
Even not at his best he would still easily be out best 12

Let the world pay their salaries if we have too
And let them come back and play if their the best in their position
SA do this and bring them home, the all blacks with start looking at it soon
It’s the way rugby Is now, there is no attraction to play super rugby, bigger all money where the world game has massive money and exposure overseas

Is there a list of the recent Wallaby squad assembled?
I kind of get the feeling it's just about everyone.

Apparently the press only got to see Sua'ali'i doing passing drills with some of the more high profile players today

Edit AAP has a photo if you have good eyes

Happy to see Tupou there and looking like he is training and not in some sort of Rebab group. Really need him fit and firing.

Poreki back is positive and Joseph in there hopefully adds a bit of excitement to the group, bringing in a couple of overseas players will hopefully add more competition for spots as well.

This tour is massive, the time is over now for honourable defeats, we need results

There are very few squads in the world who don't carry at least 1 expeirenced head in a group. Wallabies went with 3 average/inexperienced and it's showing.

Not saying about being the starting 10 - its about adding value to the squad. Learning, Mentor, Pressure etc. It's exactly what Schmidt said they did with sexton.
They are really missing it. Kerevi would fit the bill although he is a 12. He would be a great call as a squad inclusion.

Yep. Reds and Force are in the same camp on Wed/Thurs I think.

This isn't a Wallaby squad. It's a Players of National Interest training camp
Cheers, asking becasue i was at Reds training yesterday and there were one or two wallabies training with the Reds, they might be doing extras or might have been dropped. Would be surprised if it were the later.
