Hard to know. Blokes that are in a wider NRL squad spots 25-30 who will play most of the year in State Cup are likely on minimum wage which is 120k. The players not signed to an NRL side can get between $800-$1500 per game so some might make 30k. The thing is it keeps going down the levels. Ron Massey (3rd tier) can get $500-$600 a game which is more in line with what some of the good Premier Club teams will pay in Rugby.

Country Rugby league will give about the same as Ron Massey as well.

I knew a guy who got $500 a game playing in the Macarthur comp.

Well done boys. Lemoto is a must get, he was absolutely dominant in both games. Uys was excellent in both also just needs to control a few pushed offloads. Grover stepped up massively this game, his running game is outstanding and just controls the game so well.

Aus 9 is a gem. Love seeing them pass off the deck as well. Don't waste time with your two-step into a pass.

1, 8, 9, 13 for me right now are Aus biggest threats.
Good observation, its a long lost art in Australian rugby “passing off the deck”, nearly all halves stand up skip then pass like George Gregan did. If you don’t pass off the deck in NZ you’ll never play at any high level. Hurts to say (being a Joeys boy) but Grover is a talent

injured, overlooked or league….
Others not picked were Mitch Woods and Alex Conti form St.Pats, two of the best players for NSW U/16 two years ago but with the Bulldogs now. Woods would have been my first pick in Aust U/18

The list of "league" boys who could have been available but have contracts after school would have made competition for spots extremely tight. Mitch Woods or Toby Rodwell at 10 would have both been exceptional. Would have loved to see last years Australian 16s Captain Onitoni Large at 12 and Joey Walsh was the incumbent 18s 15. All 4 would have been exceptional but made their decision to pursue the League pathway.
