The 72-56 game was the defence-optional 2010 Lions/Chiefs match in Johannesburg. Don't know who 75-43 was.

They're leading their "Mummy can I please have a playoff game" conference by 9 clear points!

Oops, I see they've just lost 4 straight.

Yet they still lead their conference by 9 clear points!
Yep they did beat the " Father us arrogant Kiwis can't lose to overseas teams" Chiefs.

We all know the "The Board Have Every Confidence In The Coach" routine but this a new one on me:

"......Bulls coach Nollis Marais believes he still has the backing of the franchise's board...."

NNNNOOOOOOOOOO, NOT HIM, NOT JACO VON HIMMLER, NOT FOR THE BLUES, GAHHHHHHHHH

Plus he’s got his whole hometown crew there, Marius Von Westergoebbels, plus 2 other local henchmen, all with the best interests of the Republic at hawt.

FFS.

Why don’t they just give the ref’s whistle to Louis Luyt and be done with it.

Jaco Van Heerden was legitimately terrible last week, and I wasnt exactly cheering for the Highlanders as a Bulls win would have been really helpful for the Blues playoff chances.

Each of the main countries really seem to have some trash refs - Van Heerden and Berry for South Africa, Hoffman and Houston for Australia, and Jackson and Nutbrown for NZ.

Anyway great to see Nanai at fullback.

God you even have Veldsman.

That is just harsh

Hurricanes (15-1): Beauden Barrett, Wes Goosen, Vince Aso, Ngani Laumape, Julian Savea, Otere Black, TJ Perenara (c), Brad Shields, Ardie Savea, Reed Prinsep, Vaea Fifita, Sam Lousi, Jeff To'omaga-Allen, Ricky Riccitelli, Ben May. Reserves (16-23): Leni Apisai, Mike Kainga, Loni Uhila, Mark Abbott, Callum Gibbins, Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi, Jordie Barrett, Ben Lam

Otere Black to 5/8, Beugan to 15, Jordie to bench. Black's likely to be at least in the Maori All Blacks 23, wouldn't be surprised if he's getting a run at their request.

Cheetahs: 15 Clayton Blommetjies, 14 Sergeal Petersen, 13 Francois Venter (captain), 12 Clinton Swart, 11 Raymond Rhule, 10 Fred Zeilinga, 9 Shaun Venter, 8 Henco Venter, 7 Oupa Mohoje, 6 Uzair Cassiem, 5 Carl Wegner, 4 Armandt Koster, 3 Johan Coetzee, 2 Elandre Huggett, 1 Ox Nche. Substitutes: 16 Torsten van Jaarsveld, 17 Charles Marais, 18 Tom Botha, 19 Francois Uys, 20 Niell Jordaan, 21 Tian Meyer, 22 Niel Marais, 23 Ruan van Rensburg

CruSadists are warming as favourites, tab.co.nz has them at $1.65 c.f. Tribe $2.25 which is way too generous IMO given they've been our bogey team for several years now.
