still no response from the ARU. Is O'Neill kidding???
With due respect, it would be a tremendously stupid PR move for the ARU to post negative news about rugby for public consumption during the wallaby season. News should only be released after all domestic tickets have been sold or the games played. If they did so before hand they should be looking for a new PR department.

They have a PR department, wj? Any idea what their function is?
.
It's a two person team, one payed, one unpaid. They follow JoN around, tell him his hair looks good.
"The hair looks great John! You shouldn't have bought the kids size sunglasses though."
Thanks Bruce, I've suggested it for the next round of stubbie holders.Love the signature line, Swat.

I avoided that because a shepherd is also defined as a person who protects, guides, or watches over a person or group of people. Something that our sheep herder has failed to do. Also, anything with religious connotations should be avoided, we don't want Dingo thinking he's Jesus. We normally call a sheep herder a shepherd.

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/big-hit-in-the-pocket-looms-on-salary-cap-scandal-20120825-24t63.html#ixzz24iuj9goEAn Australian province is expected to be slapped with a massive fine shortly as part of the Australian Rugby Union's investigation into a salary cap rort. The rort, revealed in The Sun-Herald several weeks ago, involves an ''invoicing'' system where players are paid cash ''under the table'' via their clubs. The ARU has been interviewing numerous figures in the past few weeks, and it is believed they are targeting at least five officials from one Australian province. There has been a lot of bobbing and weaving, but Sunday Maul understands that in the past week there have been major developments, with several officials implicated. It also appears the once-strong relationship between two high-profile officials from the same province has collapsed. They were close buddies. But one will now not take the calls of the other. Guilt, fear or what?
All because that province's current official is assigning all the blame onto a recently departed official.
