They are not doing themselves any favours in retaining decent players for next year or for recruiting new ones for the same until they get their internal stuff together.
They are on a downward slide despite having a reasonable roster. It's unlikely that JOC (James O'Connor) or Hunt will stick around too long, particularly if the Reds are not winning.
Lucas was a very valuable player for the Reds covering 9, 10 and 15. Losing both he and Aussie Mike was tough. Especially so with Hunts problems and Quades injuries.

I think this discussion needs to lean away from the whole 'Reds stuffed up by letting Lucas and Harris go, we now don't have a proper flyhalf' conversation which has saturated the last 2 pages. For whatever reason, those two aren't with the Reds and there was no way Reds management were to know that Quade would essentially miss the entire season and Khunt would sniff half of it away.

The last 2 pages? I reckon you would struggle to find many pages in the 311 thus far that don't mention it! Excellent idea but, I would gladly vote for moving on from that conversation!

Thankyou for bringing a decent post in here.

Yeah why bother having players on contract. Let them all go until everything is sorted. No point fielding a team at all.

Ummmm.... what??

What I mean is they will not have much luck in keeping current players or attracting new signings until they get a decent coach.........simple enough for you?

Taps has a pretty rounded skill set. I would rather he be tried at 10 than Frisby. Just that little extra experience is a big advantage. Genia can ride a bit more pine so Frisby gets game time in his proper position.

The Blues going winless was our best chance of avoiding the wooden spoon.

Here's an idea for the first post of the 'Reds Positivity Thread'.....
At least it's not the Super 18 comp yet. If it was we'd be in 18th position!

Just noticed that the Force are sitting in 14th overall with the same win loss as us. 1 win and 6 losses.
Given that they just missed out on the playoffs last year and we were only marginally better last year than we have been this year, it's weird that we're copping the flack that we are and the Force aren't rating much of a mention.
