As for the Reds. I'm finding it hard to get excited for the remainder of the season. Tanking my son the the Tah's game but am not overly enthused.

Rumours starting that Michelak will play the last 3 games for then Reds. Don't really see then point. Don't think he will bring the crowds back and suspect he will potentially cost us more games than win us. I'd stick with Lucas (unless injured) or consider giving Greene a run.

??? WTF is going at the Reds. so many players leaving, and now this? when we get iced in the lat 3 games does it give the coaches somewhere to hide?

I know I am being really tin hatted and cynical. If this is true it shows how much depth we lack. where are the players for 2015 that can play a whole season of Super Rugby going to come from? Do we already have them but are they not getting a game. where is Benny?

Is this off the back of him being asked about this last week? I can't see why they would do it. The season is over so better giving someone a shot who they may want to look at before next year.

Frisby + Lucas seems the best option, how would parachuting Michalak in for a few games of a ruined season help at all? Especially when his time and lead up with the team will be limited.

That's ignoring that he can be a bit of a flake and is a little past it now.

Looks like Gill is fit again, if he gets through this weeks game v The Rebels he'll be off to join the 7's squad for the Comm games in Glasgow.

Could then kick on and play the first bit of the world series, but apparently that's still to be be decided..

Hmmm, it's a bold move to say the Clan game was the best Reds game of the year. I wouldn't say so, anyway. Lucas didn't outperform some of Cooper's performances anyway from some of the games throughout this year.

I would say that Lucas would do a better job than a parachuted in Michalak, having trained in that position for a while.

The Queensland Reds, meanwhile, have dismissed rumours veteran French playmaker Frederic Michalak is on their shopping list.
“His name has been pushed to us by half a dozen sources, none of them reputable,” said Reds coach Richard Graham. “He is not a player we are chasing.”

Thank christ for that. Sad how Dick will say we're not interested in players but won't mention who we've signed to cover the departing.
