Anyone manage to score a match day jersey from the recent online auction through the Rebels website?

The Weary membership doesn't seem worth the money. Why so expensive?

I think with the Weary Dunlop you get your very own hamster in Rebels coulours and a buttock massage from the non-playing squad member of your choice at half-time.

It's pure maths, man. We had ~10k members in 2012. If each member buys 5 memberships, then that's ~50k members.

.DO IT FOR THE CLUB!

:D

That said, I did buy four (but only one ticketed).

Well, I just renewed 2 x Platinum. Sorry, but that will be my limit for 2013!

I need some money left over for the $10 bourbon and cokes they sell at the bar on game day. ;)

$10!? Maybe the weary membership is worth it after-all!

I have a game day routine:

Mrs daz and I drive in and park at Southbank.

Light dinner at either the Blue Train cafe or #8 Resturant (if we are feeling snooty).

Slow walk from Southbank to AAMI park (or river taxi if it is wet)

Get drinks at the bar, take our seats.

Yell and get excited during the game.

Hang around to chat to the boys post-game.

Slow walk (or river taxi) back to Southbank.

Late supper/coffee and cake at Blue Train cafe.

Home Jeeves.

Now if that is not a good night out, I don't know what is.

Still $150 versus $25 for game day admission, so you'd have to go to more than six games for this to be almost worthwhile. Not gonna happen for me, I'll only make it to about three games a season.

How much is a beer?
Draught is $3 per pot, $6 per pint. Blonde is $4 per pot, $8 per pint. Bulmers stubbies are $5.

It only has Draught, Blonde & Bulmers on tap.

If you want more variety there's Post Office next door. $5 schooners during Happy Hour. However they don't seem to be too keen on supporters in general.
