Newington vs Kings @ Stanmore International Airport - final pre-view

No theme for this one just a hard game of footy with a honest prediction, may the best plane win haha.... These took alot out of me sorry for the form on this oen..

Will Newington's Crowd finally take flight???

Will Newington finally start getting crowds after recent dominance? Will Kings finally get a win? Will the New boys conquer Fonua and his army. At 3:15 when that ball is kicked into the air, the New boys will be calling one mans name, to save them. M..MA..MAS...MASI..MASI..MASI. Will Makasini be the one to save the day or will Fonua show the boys from the local airport who the real Kings are. Lets get into some HEAVY matchups..

TITANIC CLASH - Lavercombe vs Clatworthy
Colossal Giants

When the ref calls set for the first scrum of the match and these giants start to push who is going to come out on top? When Lavercombe runs in straight to the Newington front row who is going to come out on top. Will it be Newo with Lavercombe on the ground or shall it be Kings standing over the New boys like kings..

The Great 8 Showdown - Mersal vs Fonua
Battle of tha Bulls

Fonua will be feeling quite disappointed the way his season has started and will be seeking blood out at the airport, after last years triumphs and will be looking to gain some control over at the airport. Mersal on the other hand will be ready and 'geedup' as the Newo boys say and ready to go. Who will this matchup.. Most likely Fonua however this does not mean they will win the game..

Yougin and Red - Smith vs Davies
A gym showdown

Young gun vs Big Red. Smith this young man will be ready to go and still has a lot to prove. On the other hand Davies the big boppa with a
140kg bench will be ready to go crazy against this team. Will Smith throw better. Will Davies snatch it. I guess we will find out tomorrow...

Real talent - McEwan vs Risati
Who knows what will happen

Tallllllmittt may be one of the best in schoolboy rugby but he is going up agaisnt another young gun who has a lot to prove. Risati with his cheetah like speed and and strong kicking game talmit will have a tough time trying to keep up however only time will tell...

Who shall it be?
This is going to be a must watch and must win game. It is going to be crucial for both teams. If Kings want any chance at staying alive in this comp they need to win, however if Newington win this game it will put them into good stead and a great spot on the ladder.. Geeup and I guess we will find out tomorrow.. Nothing else from me, only time will tell...

News out of the view camp. Apparently riverview 2nd XV winger Ollie Perkins out for tomorrows clash.
Not sure why, but heard he was absent at warcries, so you'd think it must be serious.
Not in the spirit of view boys to miss these, so hope he's alright.

Cheers,

Wilty

There are an abundance of huge stories headlining this weeks thriller at Northbridge, the desperation of both sides sitting at the bottom of the ladder, the battle between the two highly touted year 11 five-eights Rex Bassingthwaighte and Ontoni Large, as well as the matchup of the criminally underrated Henry Conick up against the big named Zach Fittler. Although, I believe the biggest story cannot be seen watching the 1st XV game, but at 2 o'clock, where two old allies go to battle in the 2nd XV. It may not be a head to head matchup in the same position like Baxter vs Brial will be, but the battle of Scots tight-head prop and Shores inside-centre will be must watch footy. Tom Duddy (S) and Ollie Mackellar (E) not only went to school together, but they resided in the same boarding house for three years, this was all before Duddy ran off to Bellevue Hill. At the time these lads were both playing opens in year 10, 2nds and 1sts respectfully, flashforward to now and Duddy is still playing in the same competition and Mackellar has found himself demoted. It will be a huge 'Mate vs Mate' battle, although I'm not sure they were ever mates.

Secretly, Mackellar hated him i believe, talking to his father Ian the other day and this is what he told me. Big beef tomorrow?

have you heard the story coming out of the Scots College camp. Jack vanstone is making his debut in the 1XV, and wow he acquires qualities of the great fellow scotsman who came before him, with an expansive game holding a threat whenever he touches the ball , connections between the golden year football talent of , Billy smith and Angus Crighton are just a fraction of what this explosive and adgile ginger number 11 holds. I wish him the best of luck and I suggest everyone gets out to watch this freak of nature.

If you're going to take the piss at least do a bit of research, this is the dribble that ruins the forum, you've still got some homework due. And change your username you don't deserve to hold the title of Joker.

Been viewing the predicted President teams and have been noticing the lack of some of the Shore U16s, obviously may have a bit of a bias being a Shore supporter and have only watched the teams in which Shore have played. I believe that there are certain players who must have a mention, if not in the President A, at least in the B team. Sidwell (2nd Row) has been dominant in all of the 16As games I have watched, and had a good stint for the 2nds against Oakhill, he is all over the lineouts and reminds me of what Charlie Galligan was last year, a reliable defender and amazing line out jumper. Robertson (Flyhalf) has been controlling the games very well, leading the backline and directing the forwards to a standard that is usually only seen with five-eights in the opens teams, and would not be surprised if he moves straight into the President A number 10 jersey. Armstrong (Prop) may have been overlooked in the U16 selections as he has been playing in the 2nd XV for most of the year, and certainly does not look out of his depth in these games, dominating scrums and lineouts as well as a quick stint in the 1st XV against Joeys, although I understand there is a plethora of props in this age group, making it difficult for Armstrong to stand out. Hamilford (Wing) has obviously had a great offseason, going from a relatively quiet player last year to being an outstanding ball runner and defender in this team, but there is a great amount of outside backs in the 16s so President B is more likely. Powell (Outside Centre) will also be a sure fire option for President A or at least B. Other mentions have to be given to Murdoch (Flanker), Quayle (Halfback), Leahy (Inside Centre).
Wouldn’t read too much into the President teams if I’m a young u16 player. Helps to make it for your reputation though.

Oscar Tremlett at 12. A great player he sure is. Following up from a great weekend for Gordon u16s he earnt himself at spot in the u16s Sydney Red pathway team. Along side some fellow GPS boys Whitaker Harry (Newington 16A's halfback) and King Jarryd (Newington, 16A's fullback with also having some time in the 2nds in recent games). Keep your eyes on this boy Oscar Tremlett he is one for the future as he still has 2 more years of school boy footy ahead.
