Great way to Put itA superstar team will always beat a team of superstars.

Looks to me like Plan B is get any 1sts player who remotely looks like they are trying to play as a team, put them in the 2s and try and win that given their 1sts season is over.3 of the seconds forwards were in the 1sts I think or could be 4… they were in the 1sts… poor team selections … even worse coaching .. no plan B… very one dimensional rugby.
BackRow is (and has been for last two or three years) the flaw for TSC - if you can't secure your own ball, and pilfer / slow down the opposition ball, it becomes a hard game.I could live with that......but not playing people out of position. Just ask Joker all about that
Didn’t Brial play as 8 last year? And the first 2 games this year. Perhaps he isn’t really an 8 after all.BackRow is (and has been for last two or three years) the flaw for TSC - if you can't secure your own ball, and pilfer / slow down the opposition ball, it becomes a hard game.
Playing without a specialist #7 or #8 has been an issue for TSC past few seasons - this year looks to be no exception with multiple changes in the BackRow (isn't that what trials are for?).
My deep sleeper agents are working wonders. “Repeat after me agent Anderson… I will…”I could live with that......but not playing people out of position. Just ask Joker all about that
I think Brial is an eight when TSC don't have a #8, otherwise he is a 2nd Row IMO.Didn’t Brial play as 8 last year? And the first 2 games this year. Perhaps he isn’t really an 8 after all.
The new RL boy has played a lot of union at 12. Many season up until U16, technically played U16 when he was U14.I think Brial is an eight when TSC don't have a #8, otherwise he is a 2nd Row IMO.
TSC have played the new RL boy at both centre and #8 - personally I would play him in the 2nd row - BackRow is a niche skillset.
Right - my guess is the size mismatch at U16 was significant - at U18 things start to even up size wise, and skillset / finesse becomes more of a factor. All of this is irrelevant for TSC, as they don't seem to have a game plan - that and the continued player position shuffling. The new RL boy has played a lot of union at 12. Wow. Not my day
It was. With the comp being so close the margin predictions have become lower. 3, 5 and 7 are now popular. Blowouts have become rare.Wow. Not my day
I think it rained 4/5 games this year, once the rain stops the tries will come and the blowouts will followIt was. With the comp being so close the margin predictions have become lower. 3, 5 and 7 are now popular. Blowouts have become rare.
McGrath had an excellent defensive game.If he performs well today, view are much more likely in taking down joeys, but not only that they become one step closer to a settled backline.

If ever there was a year this should be it. Who’s your biggest Bolter? If he can play next week I’d say Taggart could be one. Also Thiel 2R from Kings. Nether would have been on anyone’s shortlist pre season.Wouldn’t it be great if the GPS teams this year were picked on form instead of reputation?? You’d have to think with sides and individuals surprising on the up and downside the rep teams should look different to what was expected before a ball was kicked.
Others would be better placed to answer that. Just know that since Adam was a boy GPS teams, in fact most junior rugby rep sides, are picked on reputation. We live in hope that form is rewarded. If ever there was a year this should be it. Who’s your biggest Bolter? If he can play next week I’d say Taggart could be one. Also Thiel 2R from Kings. Just put the positions they are currently playing in brackets to help out. Let me know if I've missed
Absolutely agree have seen a lot of games and many of the big names play over the last month. Been outplayed by lesser names week in week out. Just because you were in gen blue or on contract doesn’t or shouldn’t give you a leg up. New year best team should be picked. Just look at the game stats each week will point you to each teams key players.Wouldn’t it be great if the GPS teams this year were picked on form instead of reputation?? You’d have to think with sides and individuals surprising on the up and downside the rep teams should look different to what was expected before a ball was kicked.
