Queensland Reds team to play the Cheetahs in the Super 14 match in Bloemfontein on Saturday morning (AEDT):-
Peter Hynes, Luke Morahan, Digby Ioane, Anthony Fainga'a, Brando Vaaulu, Quade Cooper, Will Genia (capt); Leroy Houston, Jake Schatz, Scott Higginbotham, Van Humphries, Rob Simmons, Laurie Weeks, Saia Fainga'a, Ben Daley. Res: Sean Hardman, Greg Holmes, Adam Byrnes, Ezra Taylor, Ben Lucas, Will Chambers, Rod Davies.

Braid injured? Big loss.

yeah, that's not great. paper today said it was struggling with something, here it is:

Flanker Daniel Braid has overcome a knee ligament tweak and can exploit the absence of injured Springbok star Heinrich Brussouw from the Cheetahs backrow.

obviously not. That is a blow.

And Brando's still there.

The Reds could do worse than have Leroy on the park.

Leroy was already on the park. Braid's spot has gone to Schatz.

The are putting out a big forward pack.

Big Loss. However Shatzy is a very good footballer and I think 7 probably suits him at this point in his career. The net loss isn't great though as Ezra is not that effective. Playing for a contract I would have thought

All hypothetical though I wouldn't of not been suprised if Kev wasn't injured, he would of started on the blind for this game.

No fetcher for the Reds which is odd considering that was an area I'd thought we could get one up on the Cheetahs.

I like Schatz very good tackler & another lineout option.

It was nice to hear that the cheetahs have basically written off the Reds & put themselves in for a 5point bonus win.
Thats a bit of a surprise, qoute?
Disco I am still waiting for your link Boet?

Can tell you they had Naka & Juan with interviews on our Boer TV and both spoke with big respect towards the Reds. Can qoute the Stormers also see their game against the Reds as a big challenge
Superrugby
The expected return of key players at the Western Force and a revival at the Reds means that the Stormers have a tougher tour of Australia and New Zealand than was originally expected.

Maybe you read to much PR or Keo muppets kak but then I know they dont have internet in Osfontein. :nta:

Basically Juan and the coach have said the should get a bonus point win from the reds who are poor away from home

I seem to recall Boman missed the most tackles of any player in last year's S14.

Correct, by some disctance.

Braid is a huge loss for the Reds.

Both teams have a history of being 'up and down', shall we say. I hope they are both 'up' as it will make for a great game. It is not an easy match for either team, yet both have good reason to think they can win it. My head says Cheetahs, so that means everyone should put their money on the Reds.

This should be a good game. I'm more worried about a loss than I was with the force game, I think the cheetahs will be fired up. If the reds play like they have been, they should take the win.

I imagine link will be rethinking not bringing turinui over, with Braid out. There's not a lot of the older guys left.

Obvious they fancy their changes (in the past that was one of the reason why they do great in CC but fail in S14 rugby), nothing like the bolded bit from Disco.

Nokwe out injured and in come Bjon Basson. There was talks of Basson going to the Bulls but look like he stayed in Kimberley. Wish we can get Trompie at some stage.

The Cheetahs nowhere near empty on player stock if I look at the players playing Vodacom Cup for Griquas and the real Tin Ears.

I didn't hear the comments from Juan Smith so I don't know what was said word for word but going off the comments from the Rugby Club panel on foxsports Juan Smith has basically tallied up 5 points this week.
