Arent u guys being a little hard on Cooper? This is his first poor game. He has arguably been the best fly-half in the competition so far. Has done just about everything right in attack on the feild so far, maturity was actually looking very good. If guys have noticed Berrick Barnes has played every single game shit house, cooper only one shit game so far and has already got 3 times as much critisim as Barnes. Plus his brain fart didnt even cost them the game. And i believe barnes poor performances have a signicant impact on the tahs poor perfomances.

This is his first fuck-up this season, He is still a young guy with a natural rat-bag attitude but he has been doing a lot of growing up. Yes he does have a bit more to do to get rid of all the braind fart but he's mkaing progress and by the sounds of it trying hard!

However I actually didnt get to see the whole game, was wondering how is defence was? For me this is the only part of his game that im worried about, the brain farts will diminish surely.

Dont ride him off yet, he still hasnt peaked as a player!!!

Please find any post in this forum that says Barnes has been anything other than shit this year.

With you, PB. Extreme idiocy. Some good old biff might do him some good - nothing else seems to work.

Well, Link has the size to do just that :lmao: Too stupid for words. All the more annoying because he's a bloody good player and doesn't need to resort to that sort of stupid shit to help the team win.

I suspect your mates are not professional players who are paid by the gate takings and TV rights of the public.

The only person who is required to grow up here is Cooper ... and perhaps those few who defend his idiocy.

I believe he meant Quade should grow up.

I honestly don't know how to fix Quade's attitude.

Send him out to Inala to help homeless kids every day for the rest of the year. Hopefully it might sink in how fortunate he is.

I'm a massive Cooper fan, but can't defend that trip. Very poor, and plain unacceptable at this Professional level.

Good grinding win by the Reds, in fairly ordinary conditions. They look to have a bit of belief in themselves these days. Be good to get at least one more win in the Republic.

Have to say I thought the Cheetahs looked pretty inept.

since his incident on the gold coast late last year people have been looking for another opportunity to crucify Quade, and its taken until Rd6 for anything substinance to happen. Im by no means defending what he did, as ive said before it was stupid and silly, but sheesh some people are whipping themselves over it and lording it as a candidate for the Darwin Awards.

I dont doubt that if this were another player in another jersey who performed the same act, it would be filed in the 'stupid and silly' category, but hence its quade cooper and he as a target on his head bigger then Burj Khalifa its ascended to a whole new height...

Ok, you can climb on down off that cross now. Quade has received nothing but praise this season, and deservedly so. He has been the form Australian 10. He had an average game this weekend though, and the tripping incident was sheer idiocy. Nobody's been salivating in anticipation of a Quade fuck-up but this shit combined with the whole laptop incident certainly seems to suggest that while he can play some excellent rugby, he's prone to brain snaps, though that's hardly news now is it?

What concerns me TOCC, is that Cooper is (and should be) the front runner for the Wallaby 10 jersey at the moment. I don't want to see any of that type of idiocy costing us 10 minutes or more with a player down - if he wants Deans to see him as a regular Test player, he needs to lose that stuff. But his year shouldn't be condemned for it by any means.

I'd crucify any other Rugby player that did something of that idiocy. Especially someone who should have learned by now. He does that in a test match, or in a WC match we would be screwed. Sure if he tripped someone in play, I wouldn't hound him that much, but the fact that he did it 5 metres away from the touchie, and did it when they were going for a drop goal just shows his immaturity.

Hopefully someone can make him learn. Too add i made a promise that if the reds win 2/3 games on this tour i would buy a reds jersey. i think its a chance

Don't be ridiculous, chief. Cooper is still just a kid and his coefficient of brainfarts has been steadily decreasing over the past 12 months. He still has a few in him yet, to be sure, but he'll be fine.

What Cooper did was stupid for sure. Be stuffed if I am going to let it get in the way of enjoying 3 in a row.

Anyways, it's time to move onto the Sharks. When was the last time we did 4 in a row? shouldn't that be the focus now?

if a fair and reasonable view on things is considered sitting on my high horse then so be it, then again its not my job to make people open there eyes to the obvious
