Cooper went back to his old problems of just trying too hard to do everything.

I wonder if they had of taken Morgs to SA to run water if the "older and wiser" water boy could have given some advice for him to cool it? Cooper looks his best when there is some experience around him

What happened before the Ione no try? I thought he was pinged for off side and then the Reds got the ball back and took a tap. If there was a penalty to the Reds where was the original advantage?

Ive noticed another ting about Coopers new kicking style - his determined glare. It's quite comical, and really is superhero-esque.

Great win from the Reds and well done to the young blokes performing well in a strange place.

It's a pity for both sides they had that thunderstorm before the game as it could have been bonus point time.

We put shit on JdP for tripping in Sydney and we have to do the same to QC (Quade Cooper). It's a symptom of instability and we saw some in the rest of his game too. This however did not stop the home team from being shit scared every time he had the ball in hand.

The usual suspects played well but I have been very pleased about the emergence of Rob Simmons in what I said was his make or break year.

It looks like a "make" year. Good on him.

The Cheetahs looked out of sorts and the expected effect of all their injuries plus the absence of Juan Smith was obvious. But there will be no crocodile tears from the Reds after what they have been through.

i highly doubt that quade would be suspended for that, especially since he has already been yellow carded

boys attitude and defence was outstanding specially when i was in the bin..sorry for that fans was a very stupid moment. time to focus on-->
^^^ this is what quade had to say on his twitter account after the match

Just aw the score only now and thought wtf, were the Cheetahs that bad or the Reds that good? Than I read that Juan Smith didn't play, the assistant coach started at lock, and the fitness trainer was on the bench.

Without Brussow and Juan Smith the Cheetahs are a walkover.

Happy for the Reds though. Might buy a jersey and wear it to the next TSF Christmas drinks. I'll even work on a Queensland accent for show.

Tripping seems to be the new gouging. Funny how that works. There were 2 tripping cases during the 6N, JdP and now Quade.

I thought it had changed a bit when he missed early on, his torso did not deem to be as twisted as in previous weeks

Hmmm, a Sydney-based expat South African trying to talk like a Qlder?? I know anyone can become a Qlder (Latham for instance :fishing ), but it'll be a tough 8 months getting there, Blue!!

I'm available for tips and elocution lessons. Talking like a Queenslander101.

Might finally need to get a new Reds jersey too like a good little bandwagon hopper... The old one is geting a bit tight.

When QC (Quade Cooper) got binned you could see he knew exactly what an idiot he is. Deserves a good chewing out everytime he does something that dumb.

Wonde if McKenzie is considering a Lions style 12 man maul...can't believe it was that effective (end Lee Grant digression).

Pretty good performance by the Reds.

I was especially pleased by Simmons. Thanks, Qlanders for meeting my request of some time ago that you do what you do best - breeding and growing locks for the Wallabies. It is especially pleasing to this analyst of the national Wallaby breeding program that young Mr Simmons appears to be a real Queenslander, although I have yet not run a validity check on the evidentiary documentation.

I am pleased to advise you that I have completed the listing of your Mr Cooper in the national rugby idiot register. I suggest you send him to Melbourne for a couple of seasons and have him undergo Rod Macqueen's course for reform of elite idiots (sic) with rugby talent. Macqueen had great success with the course at the Brumbies and Wallabies and has now refined it to incorporate new methods which he guarantees are idiot-proof. The course is excellent, evidenced by players coming from all over the world to enrol. The first enroller this year has been Danny Cipriani, all the way from the UK, who is very much like your Quade. I am sure the two would become great mates and would benefit from doing the course together. We promise to send your Quade back to you in time for the 2015 Super 23 when you will have a real shot at the finals.

I honestly don't know how to fix Quade's attitude. Not even Ewen can fix it. He's too busy with his head up his fucking ass to realise that he needs to grow up, he's a kid both on and off the field. Hopefully someone can make him learn. Too add i made a promise that if the reds win 2/3 games on this tour i would buy a reds jersey. i think its a chance

Ref had no idea in the scrum. Not once did the Cheetahs props get done for packing with their shoulders about a foot lower than their bums. How is anyone meant to keep a bind on when they do that? Mind you Daley looked pretty crap at scrum time from my perspective.

Also didn't like how, on one scrum he moved over to the other side, then decided to penalise the Reds on the side he was previously on.

Yeah, I'm not 100% sure we can pin it on Daley. Like I said before, his opposite number stood up in almost every scrum in the first half at least. I wonder if Nel was trying to bore in on Finger and Daley was driving under him? Hard to tell with the camera not on that side to start. Daley's problem seemed to be finding/keeping a bind.

Other thoughts?

Yeah, it's surprising that a guy who plays x-box every spare minute of his day would act like a kid!

While I haven't done any counting on the subject it does appear to me that this season the prop who is first penalized in a game is in trouble with the referee all day or night, no matter what he and his opponents do.

Biff I reckon you've got a point. And if you dare mouth off at scrum time you're going to be singled out too.

Yep. I am looking at Stephen Moore and most Saffa hookers.

You're very welcome, Blue, that's if they can organise a Christmas pissup in Brisbane. You might be waiting for some time, they haven't been able to put one on for the last few years.

Geez the Tin Ears was white hard dog shite last night. Pretty sure their Vodacom side would put up more of a fight and easy 5 pointers from now on against them. Hope their 9points is enough to keep them from wood spoon,
