The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are proud to be partnering with Yara in season 2024 who came on board as a Game Day 23 Partner for the men’s and women’s teams this year.

The two organisations are proudly collaborating on the ACT Brumbies' First Nations Pathways Program, which offers individuals the opportunity to excel in the professional sporting arena whilst also assisting them beyond rugby by providing study and employment support.

Yara prioritises the empowerment of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander individuals through tailored training, employment opportunities, and career progression plans. Their mission is to provide authentic diversity in the national construction and civil sector by specialising in civil, building, engineering, asset management and remediation projects.[//quote]

Pretty surprised to hear that Schoupp will be available for selection again this week.

That shoulder injury looked sickening.

Pretty good news for the Wallabies at the moment too given the shortage of fit, available props.

Has anybody got any information about the re-signing of Tamati Tua? Listening to the ROAR Rugby Podcast they seem to think that he wont be offered another contract and will likely go to Japan next year.

If this is the case it is a bloody strange decision, especially since they have just re-signed Sapsford. The Roar boys said it might have been influenced by RA and Wallaby eligibility, which if true, sucks.

It seems likely RA will tighten the number of foreign places available in super sides if the Rebels are done. It puts guys like Tua and Ravai who are off contract in a tricky position, particularly if RA have put a hold on those contracts in anticipation.

Have heard from some that contract talks with Tua are ongoing.

If the Brumbies are broke - as the press are saying, how much does a home semi-final bring in in terms of rev?
You have revenue coming from...
Tickets
food and bev
corporate hospo
merch
Do they get a $ incentive from Supe for making the finals?

Lets say the revenue looks like this
Ticket Sales 15000 x $20 on average = $300k
Food and Bev - do the Brumbies get a split here
Corporate hosps - You'd think $100k across the various categories
merch would be tiny.

So is $400k in revenue about right? Thats assuming 15k paying customers.

It will be 10K paying being realistic.

They have gained more sponsors in the last month or so there has been an small increase in revenue. I have been told by more then one source that what is blocking sponsor revenue is the concerns that money may flow to RA not the Brumbies and the level of control RA has. The quicker we get clarity over teams, management and the games future the better we all will be.

A couple of years ago they were concerned about hosting a home semi because they would lose money if the crowd was below a certain level (approx 10k). With the pathetic crowds we've had this year I think they will almost definitely be losing money on the quarter.

Do juniors get free tickets to the bowls for the regular season anymore?

I feel like early 2000s there would be 2-5k juniors who would show up each round.

Sure, the brumbies don't make any money off it, but it at least got a crowd in.

As for the quarter, I reckon we'll see 12-15k depending on opponent.
