With the news out of the Wallaby camp suggesting that Lealiifano and Ashley Cooper are fit, I expect the following backline:

9. Genia
10. OConnor
11. Cummins
12. Lealiifano
13. Ashley Cooper
14. Folau
15. Beale

Alternative would be to have Folau at 15, JOC (James O'Connor) on the wing and Beale at fly half. However with Deans stubborn streak, I think this is just a pipe dream rather than a reality.

I also expect Smith to be parachuted into the 23. Why else would he be brought into camp. Unlucky on either Gill or Hooper, but I'd take Smith in there for sure. Look what BOD and POC add (added in POC's case) to the Lions.

So Pat McCabe, Digby Ioane and Berrick Barnes won't be playing in this test.

Presumably Dingo will use players from within the 32 first to replace these guys in the 23 for the 2nd test.

Who if any will come into the 32 person squad?

If Deans play O'Connor at 5/8 again and we lose he is going to look like to the world's stupid man. and I'm going to challenge him to a fight

And if he puts Quade back in for the third and the Lions smash us by 20, will the Quadeslanders in the room shut the fuck up?

I doubt it. Somehow it's never his fault - the laptop jumped into his hands too I'll bet.

Cooper should book himself in for surgery immediately. Any surgery he can think of that will keep hi out for the next 2 weeks.

Of course not, if Cooper had been there for weeks he would have developed combinations. (This is sarcasm, dont have a fit)

Nice sweeping generalisation again. There are as many from out of QLD that want him there but you dont seem to see that. Then to top it off the post YOU bought it up in made no reference to Cooper. There are about 5 people i would pick at 10 before JOC (James O'Connor) and 3 of them are in the squad already (Lilo, Beale, Barnes) but beacuase it is was a Reds fan they obviously want Cooper right?

When did i mention Quade Cooper?? I wrote a comment earlier on my thoughts of the game. I thought the wallabies were great but JOC (James O'Connor) looked much more at home receiving the ball a bit wider. I don't know how he can justify keeping him at 5/8 when he is better used elsewhere. How does that have anything to do with me being a Qld??

Also my post was meant to be light hearted in nature.

North already had that wagging finger dealt with. It was one of the digits stuck between the ball and Izzy's hand when he got held up on his next dive at the line.

We look like we may have a stronger side for test 2 with Horwill, Lilo and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) available.
We are stuck with JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 so there is no use pulling the QC (Quade Cooper) ot To'omua card out as neither has been called into the squad.
Beale starting at 15 and Tomane or Cummins on the wing in place of Diggers will be an improvement in my book.
Our bench lacked impact last week and we could now see Kimlin/MMM and George Smith there along with Horne and Tomane/Cummins. All of these blokes can impact a match and will take us home strongly if we avoid another injury orgy.

I think your spot on with what deans will select and what should be selected given what we have on board. I would like to add though swapping mmm or kimlin for simmons and then we have a great team and bench. I might also start with slipper for alexander in the second test - damm i wish i was a selector!

I agree with this albeit with the exception of Cummins in for Tomane. I think Cummins is the best like-for-like candidate we have for Digby. A hard running, abrasive runner that has a penchant for contact.

Plus when he wears gold he knows how to sniff out a white line better than a Beagle at the airport.

Pat McCabe, Digby Ioane and Berrick Barnes won't be playing in this test.

McCabe and Ioane will miss the rest of the series and Barnes this match at this stage.

McCabe has re-injured his neck and Ioane has damaged his shoulder.

In some better news, Lealiifano and Ashley-Cooper are expected to be OK.

I would be happy to see Berrick now hang up his boots. Looking very much like an Elton Flatley rerun to me. In any event, I don't think his form warrants selection in the Wallabies.

Joe Tomane is a specialist No 11 and should therefore be the natural replacement for Digby. I do like the thought of HB being in the team, and really would like to see a back three of Tomane, Cummins and Folau. That would mean dropping JOC (James O'Connor) which I think would also be a positive. Beale to 10 until he can also be replaced by a proper No 10.
