I just read an article where JOC (James O'Connor) says Lilo was the planned kicker for last week. I hope he kicks this week.
Only because JOC (James O'Connor) had a twinge in his hamstring during the week and could not do any kicking. Normally JOC (James O'Connor) is a good kicker I think.

He's never been particularly consistent.

What nonsense...

Tomane was dynamite last year, and if it wasn't for injury he probably would've started most tests...

He's had a slow start to the season after coming back from a series of injuries but looked solid for the Brumbies leading up to the series....

The only criteria holding back Tomane from starting is his fitness....

At his best he's miles ahead of Cummins who is a very good, but limited player....
I couldn't disagree more. Are u getting confused with the other brumbies winger Speight? Now Henry Speight is probably better then cummins or at least on par. Both are better then tomane. In fact drew Mitchell is probably a better choice then tomane.

I do believe you are talking out of your arse. Tomane has been very good for the Brumbies for the last 18 months. You have only noticed Henry Speight because Speight is better. To say that Mitchell has been better than Tomane (over the last 18 months) is a very long bow.

Maybe we will see Beale at 10 in attack and 15 in defense afterall.

Now that would be a Robbie Deans masterstroke!

Drew is the man. He would perform great once he puts the jersey on. Look at Nonu and Dagg for the all blacks. Their all black form is miles better then their s15 form. I understand we have to pick on form as well though. Some guys get lost and others don't. We let guys go too early, like gits. his form was actually pretty good leading up to the World Cup and deans dropped him. Even with average form he still should of been picked. Very hard for drew with izzy and cummins in the squad though.

I still think Mitchell has a lot too offer at test level however he will probably never play a test again now he is off to he northern hemi.

One more thing

How many games has tomane started in this year.

Again, as much as I think Tomane is good, he doesn't offer the balance that Cummins would bring. Let's not forget the Deans loves his 'balance' so It would be nice if he stuck with his word for once and actually chose players on the criteria he so often preaches.

Tomane was touted as the next Folau a few years back and they are both big x-factor exciting wingers. Digby is a completely different style of crash ball, impact winger that probably has less ball handling skills. Cummins, I believe, is actually a massive improvment in terms of ball handling without losing the digby-esque style of play and would slot in perfectly as someone that can just take the ball to the line or make a break down the sideline.

For me they are both equal in terms of how 'good' they are, but they offer different skill sets to the team and i think the Honey Badger will fit the Digby mould perfectly.

He also does sweet interviews.

I have posted a number of times, but here goes again. Joe is a specialist 11, and Cummins generally plays 14. I presume the side they play on reflects their skills in kicking and swerving while running. If Digby is out, Joe is the logical replacement. If Izzy goes to 15 (as he should) HB would be the logical replacement. I am a big fan of both. I was calling for HB's inclusion long before Deans brought him into the squad last year. My real preference until Henry Speight becomes eligible is for the back three to be Folau at 15, HB at 14 and Joe at 11. I would not start JOC (James O'Connor) in the first 15. He is a good player but not the best available in any position.

To answer your last question, from memory Joe Tomane has started in all but the first couple of S15 games this year when Rathbone started. That would be in the order of 10 - 12 games I believe.

Funnily enough, probably more than double the amount of games than Cummins has played this year........

Tomane 14games,4tries,34 tackle busts,5line breaks and 102kg
Cummins 5 games,0 tries,17 tackle busts 2 line breaks and 99kg
Mitchell 12games, 1try, 40 tackle busts, 11line breaks and 95 kg.
stats from fox sports for 2013 but they don't give data on tackles or high balls. Tomane is good defensively and under the high ball. He had a try saving tackle in his only test appearance in NewCastle but was injured during training the following week. He had a strong league background and scored three tries on debut for Melbourne storm agains the Broncos. Was a Aust Schoolboys rep with O'Conner.

You are probably right about Mitchell but if selected Tomane won't let anyone down. The post match interview will not be as good as HB though!

I don't see Cummins as the most balanced Wallaby winger available for the second test.
His defence is not always perfect and more than once I saw someone throwing him a dummy and creating a hole, while Tomane should be a more reliable defender and, plus, n.11 is the position he's specialized at. With the Lions likely to be dangerous with their wings, I guess Tomane offers a better "balance" imho

Kurtley and JOC (James O'Connor) out getting burgers at 3:50am on the week of the biggest test match Australia will, play this year. Storm in a teacup again. How many storms till it gets upgraded to a cyclone in a teacup.

These two clowns should be stood down from the second BIL Test and given four days to consider why they should continue as members of the squad.

We have sufficient depth to select two replacements who have respect for the "Wallaby Brand". The management group responsible for the statement "They have not broken any team protocols" should also be cleaned out, as they also just 'don't get it'.
As you can tell, I'm pissed off, and sick of Rugby players trying to bring our game down to the level (read standard) of Rugby League.

"McCabe out for the year, after re-fracturing neck"!!! ABC News 24 tonight.

I'm not a huge McCabe fan but he's a tough SOB. Was watching him on Saturday night getting treatment in back play and was obviously in pain. He saw the Wallabies were short in defence so jumped up to fill in and made the tackle before being stretchered off.
Really hope he has a speedy recovery.
