I know there's a lot of man love for Cummins but this is the most easily discredited selection of Deans career.Shipperley didn't deserve to be dropped
Blindside wing? Dont we play left and right wings - or is that another development I missed?Cummins deserves a chance. I suspect it is as much a rotation as anything.
We need to have a blindside wing ready if Ioane goes down. Cummins could fit that mould.

WTF did shipperley have to do with last weeks debacle? And if the thinking was he should have been more involved then the simple question is when and how: sure he could have run 50m to get nearer the ball but only to find himself tackling a bokke forward on a turnover.
And if they've decided on the very limited evidence that he's not test match standard that only raises a question of why they picked him in the first place.
This really looks like headless chook stuff.

I think dropping blokes who do nothing wrong in the present context is cheapening the jersey by saying "oh, lets just have a look at this bloke".Shipperley didn't do much wrong, but he didn't do much special either.
Cummins deserves a chance, he was one of the best wingers in the S15 and then continued his from the SS.
He should bend the line a bit more at least and as we use wingers through traffic on inside balls we need that. We don't give wingers space on the outside to go around sides and this side is set up to go through the middle, not around.
Beale is our best attacking option, he needs to be at 10 so he touches the ball more.

And if you're right about Shipperley being a lesser player up the middle and that this is the way we are intending to play, then Shipperley was never the man for that job and Cummins should have been there from day 1.
Having said that I say good luck to the Badger - you guys love hime and I havent seen enough of him to have a view.
Bullocks, doing nothing wrong is not enough hopefully to lock down a Wallaby jersey.
I am happy to see someone given a go who can do more than not make mistakes (I know I am setting myself up to look like a clown if he has a 'mare)
I see Taps in the same way.
