Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

Sure, I’m not saying he didn’t, just found it hard to identify him as a unanimous standout. I was more justifying my selection of HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes).

    1. Johnson-Holmes (WAR) 2. Kaitu'u (FOR) 3. Fa'amausili (REB) 4. Timani (FOR) 5. Hosea (REB) 6. Lee-Warner (FOR) 7. McReight (RED) 8. Wilson (RED) 9. McDermott (RED) 10. To'omua (REB) 11. Koroibete (REB) 12. Paisami (RED) 13. Petaia (RED) 14. Vunivalu (RED) 15. Pincus (REB) Not as controversial...

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

Yeah like he was all over the Rebels on Dempsey’s tap

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

He didn’t actually, the first 3 all either went backwards or were off a Rebels player, not sure about the last one though! Academic anyway, if he did it was full time.

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

Rebels were never onside from that Dempsey tap

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

Well if it’s out of Whitaker and Cheka I’m picking Cheika. 8 days a week. This lot need a kick up the arse, he’s the man.

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

Rebels like their obstructions. Look pretty intentional to me.

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

I had some hope that the Tahs season might improve, instead it’s imploding. I’m a wallabies supporter first and foremost but it’s a worry if someone like me decides to switch off for the rest of the lead in to the tests.

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

If you were doing it strictly man on man then maybe, but if you were to select the strongest XV from the 2 sides I'd go something like: 1. HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) (WAR) 2. Hanson (REB) 3. Pone (REB) 4. Cummins (REB) 5. Hosea (REB) 6. Swinton (WAR) 7. Tizzano (WAR) 8. Dempsey (WAR) 9. Powell (REB) 10. Harrison...

    Waratahs 2021

My understanding is that Ned is coming back anyway. I’d go Skelton, kerevi and TN as my top 3.

    Round 5: Rebels v Tahs - Friday 19/3, AAMI Park, 7:45pm AEDT

Perese should be back too right? EDIT: I just realised it's been 3 weeks but only 2 games. The Parkes 7s were on while he was off, surely a missed opportunity to claim a week there!

    Wallabies 2021

Folau type? Like freak value? He’s good but I haven’t seen that yet.
  13. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2021

Yes to Hodge, I forgot about him as a 15. I’ve always thought he has a bit of the Chris Latham’s about him - awkward but elusive, the big boot to go with it, and deceptively quick.

    Wallabies 2021

Petaia has played fullback although I’m not sure at what level. It wouldn’t be a silly move but would rather the Reds see the opportunity first. With the developing depth at 10 and in the centres I reckon JOC (James O'Connor) back there would be a good option. All that said maddocks has been one of the better...

Super Rugby AU 2021 Team of the Week

I picked him too. Most people picked LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) who had 4 runs for a total of 3 metres and missed 4/10 tackles. Swain didn't do much in attack but made 10/10 tackles. My Bradbury pick for this week.

    1. Robertson (FOR) 2. Fainga'a (BRU) 3. Tupou (RED) 4. Swain (BRU) 5. Hosea (REB) 6. Lee-Warner (FOR) 7. McReight (RED) 8. Samu (BRU) 9. Powell (REB) 10. Lolesio (BRU) 11. Koroibete (REB) 12. Paisami (RED) 13. Petaia (RED) 14. Muirhead (BRU) 15. Campbell (RED)

    Waratahs 2021

Where did I say he said they must be coached by an Aussie? What he was saying is that NZ coaches at this level assume a certain skill level, which the current generation of Australian players don’t have. As an example he said he could only kick with one foot, and this needed to be factored into...

    Waratahs 2021

I don’t think anyone disagrees with that but it doesn’t really answer the question. incidentally I was talking to an ex Waratah and Wallaby last night and had a fairly lengthy discussion about the Waratahs issues overall, but with regards to the coaching specifically, the view is that Penney...
