Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

It was literally rugby 101 at the most basic level. Proper embarrassing.
  2. KOB1987

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

It was largely academic because even if we won, we still needed the Rebels to get flogged by the Brumbies tomorrow and then beat them ourselves by about 130 points next week to finish third. It would be nice to remove the duck egg from the Waratahs record for the season though, there’s only next...

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Certainly a rare example of backs being allowed to be angry with forwards.
  4. KOB1987

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

I will say though, even if it was the 2 worst teams, it was a great advert to have on FTA.
  5. KOB1987

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Whoever called it to be thrown to the back lost it.

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Ffs. Throw it to 2, one hit up, kick into touch. Game over and a win. Mind boggling.

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Why the fuck did they throw that line out to the back??
  8. KOB1987

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

There’s room for both of them in the current Tahs side.

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

hes definitely making a case for it. The red card probably screwed him for the first camp, totally fair enough too
  10. KOB1987

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

He did just make a decent run but prior to that I hadn’t spotted him

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Anstee definitely seems to have more impact off the bench, I haven’t even noticed he is playing

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

I’m not saying he didn’t deserve it, but if it was ruled a penalty only I doubt there would have been an outrage. I mean the two 120kg Force locks put the 85kg Ramm past the horizontal too but I just think it was good competitive footy.

Perese was definitely a good signing.

    Lame yellow though, marginal

I might have missed it but what’s up with Nawalphabet? Or is it just the 6:2 split? If it’s the latter then Newsome should have been the sacrificial lamb.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

That’s easily the best proposal in the 1000 pages so far. Keep it simple.

    Waratahs 2022

Hence why I say his best position at rep level will be #20. Club I’d say #6 and a fill in at 6/8 for the Tahs. He’s very similar to Dempsey size wise, and was actually his understudy his first year in Aus schools.

    Wallabies 2021

I’m not sure I’d pick him in the tight five but he’d get a run at Mudgee too in any other position.

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

I agree with most of the commentary but it was always a possibility. With JOC (James O'Connor) out this week and no back up on the bench for my fantasy team, when I heard Harrison was out I grabbed both of Edmed and Donaldson at the expense of some underperforming players in my squad until the team is...

    Waratahs 2022

Angus will pick it up pretty quick. He still looks like a union player playing league. He just needs to be played in the right position, which is probably #20 at both levels.
